That's your target for everything isn't it monty? See you on Easyjet spouting the same garbage. 925p there is a bit more realistic though.

bulltradept - All software providers are retracing as we speak (SGE, MCRO, WAND etc.). This is not specific to PRSM. The negative trend will change when the market decides on a particular sector or when good news is released by a specific company. At present, all software sector is suffering.

Many different styles of trading and investing though Fuji99, I don't disagree about PRSM either.

The long term investors in great companies do not look at the daily/weekly or even monthly blips in the share price. If one looks at the charts of many great companies such as Apple, Google, Amazon etc., one will notice that over say a 5-year period, the trend was up but within those 5 years, there were many blips in the form of retracements. This is what is happening with BP. At present the company is building all the foundations to become a great company. Without patience, one cannot have a long term view.

There is some talk about a rally into the end of the year but I am not looking at markets as much as I used to bulltradept.
Everyone's situation is different.

I also said I intend to keep 'some' of my most interesting shares.
Markets hate uncertainty and we are in a bit of limbo now.
I wish you well with your investments.

Hazl,

Mostly in cash eh? You aren't, or perhaps you are, betting on lower prices this month, then a year rally into Dec ?

I am mostly in cash but we don't really know what the future holds we can only speculate as the herd tend to move together.

I think a lot of trolls who bring no value what so ever have finally dissappeared.

Hiding somewhere licking their 40% down wound.

Ha ha compliment....you need all the help you can get!

DT Not if it's taken over at a snip and we lose yet another British firm.

Originally, from what I gather shorting was done to weed out bad practices and reveal ugly truths, now its done as a kind of gambling as we all know.

Why do you think you know more than them?
They might know if there was a predator circling or something else entirely?
Ranpmeister
I don't think you're totally wrong. I think there were loads of people that missed out on PRSM on the way up and would be following with interest.
We all know this is not an individual company drop but high-growth shares all being affected so it is interesting to see what happens next.

Not that shrewd buying shares in stage 4 of a trend IMO ie a downtrend. If they repeated that in all similar situations they would lose money

Good to see Merian topping up these boys are among the shrewdest in the business. Pity they didn’t hold off their purchase then they could have benefited from Fartingcommie’s dodgy TA and bought in 10. -15% cheaper or maybe not.

Although blue prism has dropped by 40% since early September, let's put this into perspective; fevertree is down 30% from its all time high, KWS is down 31%, and Burford Capital down 20%. It is natural that any momentum stocks can drop just as quickly as they rise but the fundamentals of this company haven't changed in the last 6 weeks and it's very encouraging to see large institutional funds such as old mutual AKA Meridian Global increasing their stake. Investors who sell in panic at times like this are cementing a loss, but if you resist the temptation to check the share prices on a daily basis, any company with a solid product, strong management team and ambitious strategy such as BP will bounce back IMO. We are in a growth industry, companies are consistently trying to drive down costs and RPA is an excellent means of achieving this..

Not that i engage in short selling....but what has shorting got to do with the operating viability of a company? It effects shareholders certainly....many of which may be employees, but if the company is viable....then share price will recover.
