gl, the timing of him leaving Samsung is what needs clarifying... If he came straight from Samsung then great appointment...
IT is fast moving...
If he came straight from Samsung, he would've been working on their current products and maybe involved in Tizen, as well as Knox...

If he left 18months ago then that paints a different picture....

Sidhu worked on Knox, Samsung's security layer but researchers have found holes in the earlier versions...

Did he leave before those security holes were fixed....releasing security software, with security flaws in it!!!!

shroder - you can see from the news item precinct highlighted how this has been picked up. Morningstar also uses that headline. He may well be a very valuable addition to the blinkx executive team with lots of relevant experience and contacts from his Samsung days. I hope he is. But to put out a press release which leaves nearly everyone thinking that blinkx have got him from Samsung, rather than acknowledge that he has been doing other things since Samsung just looks amateur or worse. And personally I am somewhat suspicious about why the Mobiliya/Agreeya Mobility company is not named on either the blinkx announcement or his linked-in profile given that he does appear to have updated his linked-in profile for the job title CTO. It's almost as though he's trying to keep his involvement there quiet.

1gw, I stand by my comments from yesterday, not sure why you would choose to spin it into a negative.

You need to understand some of his achievements to appreciate just how valuable an asset Sudhi is. Lets start with Knowx.



Why not spend time understanding the technical side of the business instead of trying to dampen investor sentiment.
