18/2/2015 21:45 | The point is it looks like one of the usual ambiguous at best and misleading at worst blinkx press releases. Herle says explicitly in the Uplinq session that he is CTO of Agreeya Mobility and used to work for Samsung. Now do you really think you would have reacted as positively to a press release saying we'd got the current CTO of Agreeya Mobility [if indeed he is still CTO] who used to work for Zscaler and before that Samsung, as you reacted to the press release which gave the impression he'd come straight from a top job at Samsung? Anyway, I've emailed DS so let's see if we get any clarification. | 1gw

18/2/2015 21:42 | I love the way LCWA tries a snide, failed putdown, gets rightly slaughtered as a result, and is then reduced to a feeble 'you should relax' comeback- the sure sign of a beaten man. Then, of course, Junior has to step in, in an inevitably doomed attempt to land some kind of compensatory blow. Hilarious. | precinct14
18/2/2015 21:42 | Lou Lou!You are the only constant, and perpetual critic of the BLNX machine I know of?So today's news is not positive? And you are an adult??I think not! | quilarvium
18/2/2015 21:30 | 1gw, what is your point? Can someone to hold more than one position or role? Surely you do something more than just promoting PACE and trying to slam Blinkx? | stocky
18/2/2015 21:22 | good post 1gw but criticism of the Blinkx machine is severely frowned upon especially on this thread just write about the good bits! | leluot3

18/2/2015 20:11 | What are you trying to say LCWA? Do you believe that it is the same Sudhi Herle in the video stating that he is CTO of AgriYa Mobility? And the same Sudhi Herle who was working for Zscaler after he left Samsung? If so, are you saying you believe it is just an oversight on the part of him and/or blinkx not to mention in the press release either of these roles? Or that having considered the matter they didn't think either of these roles were worthy of mention? Don't you think it gives a slightly different impression to the market if you put out a press release implying he's arrived from a top job at Samsung compared to a press release saying he's actually had a couple of other rather low profile jobs since then? Just look at the comments on this thread when the announcement was made: "these people would not move to Blinkx unless they saw a good future" "Have a look at this guys resume, absolutely incredible, a real king pin" "To attract such individuals speaks volumes for blinkx, well done" | 1gw
18/2/2015 19:40 | Anyone wondering whether RG might be buying on behalf of Samsung? We know Tizen has been developed to free Samsung from reliance on a US product. Blnx may be based in the US but is London listed. What might the current Blnx business be capable of stitching into Tizen? Perhaps Blnx would not be averse to a major partner which is not US (given the HP and Tiger Group debacles) and sits close to what is now, officially, the world's largest economy - China. Just musings...... | jarvis4
18/2/2015 18:13 | Did Sidhu Herle leave Samsung in 2013..Wasn't that when Tizen was due to be launched but suffered a series of delays....Interestin | sikhthetech
18/2/2015 18:11 | On the subject of moving onto another exchange. It must be noted that many of the US ad tech companies are actually listed on NYSE as opposed to NASDAQ. If we do make the move it should be driven by institutions in order to justify extra costs involved. I would much rather see a move up to a main listing here as mentioned earlier, especially now as our major share holder is UK based. My overall preference is for management to keep doing errr...what they are doing, building a diverse range of business scalable for future trends. | shroder

18/2/2015 17:30 | Sudhi Herle. I'll put this one over here as well since it ought to provoke a bit of discussion. Football noticed Sudhi Herle's LinkedIn profile suggested he left Samsung in 2013. I did a bit of digging and first came across a couple of links suggesting he went to Zscaler for a while. With a bit more digging things got much more interesting though (post below). To be clear, what I don't understand is why would the blinkx announcement not mention at least his role at AgreeyA Mobility / Mobiliya and why this company name is missing from his LinkedIn profile (only the title CTO seems to be there). A further question is how on earth could he have helped start the company in 2010 if he was full-time at Samsung at the time (although here I admit it is possible I or the journalist have misinterpreted something about the start of Mobiliya). Post from other thread follows. The plot thickens. The first link below should play a youtube video of an "Uplinq 2014" panel session (Android Applications for the Enterprise) where he introduces himself as CTO AgreeYa Mobility and mentions his long history at Samsung. If the video link doesn't work, use the second link and click on the "Android Applications for Enterprise" link in that. The third link though says that he (surely not another Sudhi Herle?) co-started Mobiliya (a company "under" AgreeYa Mobility), and implies that the company was set up in early 2010 (i.e. while he was still very much at Samsung). While the article shows pictures of the other 2 founders, of him it merely says "Harle comes from a security background", misspelling his name the second time. | 1gw
