Benny my simple friend - I have never said I have held on to shares. You have heard me say, "my core holding remains the same" spot the difference?

If you care to do a little research..perhaps you can have a Friday afternoon get together with Gowlane, he lacks the same discipline - you would have noticed that my way of operating an infallible book, involves selling stock at pre determined levels and supporting gangster attacks in much the same way.

An overround book operates and adjusts in much the same way - money comes in for a runner, the price shortens...no interest and the price drifts to a price that attracts interest....the overround is the mark-up and is calculated on course at around 17% - on an index at around 2 to 3%.

With a great deal of racing knowledge, which I possess, you can get this up to around 4 to 5%.

benny, good post... except he's around £2m down... 700K core holding plus the numerous supporting buys at 10% drop in share price ..
Only someone blind, greedy and a fool would throw away that sort of money... oh yea, Digi claimed to have 2m-3m shares (double barky)...so who's the bigger fool, barky or digi...

The other line of business that Barky turns his hand to is fortune telling, he sets up as Madame Barkboo in various fairs and race meetings around the country.

Great business. A little stubble on the chin goes down well too it seems, having a Bearded Lady tell your fortune is a big draw in some parts. Cross her palm with silver and off she goes. Think about it, “I am never wrong” is just the kind of line for that kind of thing.

He is going to clean up, so I cannot think why is he in such bad form today.

no worries Barky, I think it is only fair that you throw your punches too, after all we give you some stick - entirely deservedly of course, and it is no fun poking someone with a stick when they don't come back at you.

forgot to mention your shoeshine box on the Promenade, a couple of months of all that and you will be back on here, splashing the cash Delboy style and buying up Blinkx shares at a great rate.

Gowlane - I have been on the hills of Brighton many times, and watched a few donkeys run - never seen them venture the beach.

newbies may not be aware that Barky provides the donkey rides on Brighton Beach every summer, when he is generally too busy to post, unless it is a wet day in Brighton.

though he was thinking of selling the franchise recently and was surprised to discover that it is now worth more than his Blinkx shares

Polythene - apologies if I am boring you, I will be away in a few days and wont be posting for a couple of months.

I would like to hear more of your views on posters and the company.

Btw - I agree with almost all the views of my Irish friends, great bunch of friendly and sociable characters.

I do disagree with you on one matter - the power of the written word. Wherever written it does have impact and influence ask Edelman?
