NAV goes up, shareprice goes down.

Oh well. I'm sure the market knows best.

Wise move. Discount must be close to 20% after last night.

I've been dripping into these since the November low. From this price, with all the stimulus around the world and the green infrastructure plans this has to be a good investment on a three to five year view.

Added some more BRNE just now, after America's big move last night I am expecting NAV to rise quickly.

We are trailing NAV at the moment by about 14.5%

I wonder if the reason for this is concerns about the GBPUSD ex rate?

I don't think we have sustained this margin before. The last time the gap was this wide was when there was general distressed selling in the market and the VIX was spiking through the roof.

RD,

Thanks for getting in touch. Be careful with you $ long position. The chart above says to me 'reversal'.

The Fed recently announced a shock level of QE which seems to have changed the outlook quite considerably.

Could be an interesting way to play the green sector:

One worry for the valuation of the fund is this though:

Maybe the USD/GBP chart has peaked and is about to fall?

I'm back in for a lorry load.

Looks as though the charts are turning back up.

More encouragingly, almost all of the holdings in BRNE's portfolio failed to make a lower low, unlike the broad market which crashed through the 2003 lows.

This could be the first clue that these stocks are about to lead the recovery.

Good rises today in several of BRNE's top 10 holdings - AMSC +15%, Gamesa + 11%, Itron + 11%, VWS +11%,
Also, a significant fall in the GBP yesterday & today.
So hopefully we'll see a significantly higher NAV tomorrow and a share price back around 40p.

We should see at least a 5%+ increase in the tomorrow's NAV, and then there should be a nice bounce in the share price

Could be worth trying to catch a double bottom?

CLE putting in a hell of a bounce:

On the flip side, we are currently experiencing a tidal wave of selling on the back of extrememly negative sentiment and appalling short term fundamentals.

At some point these Green stocks will be the buy of the century - but not yet.

Here are BRNE's three biggest holdings (according to the recent update):

These charts suggest to me that BRNE may be under more short term price pressure.

I see we have a new constituent in the portfolio:
