Gilest apologies for delay in answering.

Basically if the market dont bless us with a beautiful rally and squeeze the discount. The board will liquidate and hand the cash back to shareholders.

It's good news IMHO and means that us PI's have a chance of getting out at NAV if the discount doesnt narrow.

The Weiss position here is part CFD and even then only amounting to just over 5%. The fact is this represents less than .6% of their AUM/portfolio so they probably dont care what happened today but would have smiled if it had not won a continuation and given them cash back at NAV.

Going back to post 643 on the WAM thread I track all the arbitrageurs holdings and know what each investment represents as a % of their total assets. It's very revealing and stops me from plunging (buying too many).

Journalists havent got a very good record on share tips generally + most investment trust managers havent gor a very good record of running investment trusts put the two together and us PI's have no chance.
