20/5/2020 18:33 | Has BIRD ever given a positive trading update during the last 20 years? The RNS database doesn't go anywhere near as far back. Perhaps early July might see a first? | chriscallen
20/5/2020 16:36 | Someone mopping up the weak sellers, nice.. | sideshowbull
20/5/2020 15:25 | Chris I would imagine via a trading update. Our £1m base revenue is tick over so outsize revenue gains at this stage are not unreasonable I feel particularly in this environment. | nickb
20/5/2020 15:24 | yep - certainly i am expecting good news at the interim announcement | geheimnis2
20/5/2020 15:20 | Geh Even being half right or half wrong would be a result | nickb
20/5/2020 15:20 | NickB I have to confess that 3 months or so ago I thought x10 was possible but it was a big ask. Now, whilst it seems much more likely, it will still need some large deals to achieve it, and the number that would fall below the RNS threshold does look to be much larger than seemed at all possible then. That's why I topped up this morning. My worry is that if nothing of any size is announced by 30/06 the market will take it badly. If there are to be many deals rather tan a few large ones BIRD needs to think about how they get the news into the view of investors. Forecasting cash break even this year might send a powerful enough signal to do the trick (and 10x sales would almost certainly achieve that unless costs have been let rip. | chriscallen
20/5/2020 15:10 | yes agreed nick hopefully lots of sign ups behind the scenes very possible | geheimnis2
20/5/2020 15:00 | The biggest segment of the market is probably $10k - $100k per deal so no rns Lots of them to win. Just a thought. | nickb
20/5/2020 14:45 | i would have thought we would have had more rns if we were anywhere near that nick! | geheimnis2
20/5/2020 14:45 | 10x sounds quite a stretch but some companies which benefit from COVID are making those sorts of number | geheimnis2
20/5/2020 14:42 | Chris So my theory of x10 revenue is reasonable? (We are coming off a low base) | nickb
20/5/2020 14:19 | Webinars still seem to be in demand. Since the end of March BIRD have run them on 9 days with sessions in the morning (UK) and evening (USA) EST and a joint 1 with Zixi on 29/04 with another to come on 28/05. Even at 50 people per Webinar that's 1000 participants. Having taken the trouble to sign up they are likely to be more interested than somebody just passing BIRD of the AWS stall at NAB. My guess is that there could be quite a high conversion rate if the bulk of these are the decision makers as the product is one that almost sells itself in present circumstances and the feedback from the presenters suggests that they are getting good audience participation. I was feeling optimistic enough this morning to have a small top up on the dip. | chriscallen
