Probably, I doubt an ex-employee was paying £15k of their own money to exercise and hold onto the shares.

Totally agree.
Totally never see this except from companies large enough to have a large PR department who's job it is to create that kind of information, real or not.

Managing news flow is an essential skill for any company. They need to talk to their guy so that they have a flow of news that keeps investors interested. It doesn't have to be always about wins it's showing that the company is active in all areas... product development, helping green industry and commerce, improving the quality of life for users etc

Probably it's just the natural inclination of a small company to restrict information flow to protect themselves and the fact that things always take longer than you hope and expect.
It is counter-intuitive to be open and completely honest but, in the longer term, that is usually the best policy. Some companies get this, Others never learn.

P.S. SSB - I don't think for a minute that they're being anything other than true and accurate.

SSB. IM has a lot of credibility in my eyes, as does SS. I remain very positive about the prospects of Blackbird. It has all the appearance of being the right type of hard to replicate technology in the right place as the market moves towards it. Independent experts say so in their reports and IM, who has a lot of commercial experience, seems to know enough to continue to purchase large chunks of shares. My comments are neither positive nor negative - just asking questions and making observations. I'm not a ramper and just try to keep it real. I guess all I'm saying is there seems to lack of clarity and/or news which makes a shareholder's job of trying to work out what's actually going on a little frustrating. I suspect it's a combination of legal restrictions on what can be said (as an RNS or RNS reach) in case it has an unwarranted impact on the share price, and commercial NDA restrictions. That said it would be good to understand why there appears to be such a level of pent-up demand and so few deals. Is it that because the dam is about to burst? Some clearer sign-posting from BB would be appreciated. All that said, sign-posting is one thing, but the only thing that counts in the end are revenue-generating deals - so perhaps we just need to stay patient and wait it out ...

PS The multi year expandable deal that IM wants potentially means less information by RNS and RNS Reach because there is already an existing contract which is being increased rather than an entirely new one.

AIMSTER4400 The AIM Rule Book simply requires an RNS if the deal is for more than 10% of turnover or 5% of net profits. An RNS Reach can be issued for deals that do not reach that threshold. If it is significant it should be flagged up to investors and potential investors. For example, a £75K contract does not meet the threshold test but if the customer is very large and it is clear to BIRD that it is a toe in the water for a much larger roll out it ought to be notified by RNS Reach. Similarly if it was the first order for an important sector e.g. a TV contract for Indianapolis it might be important enough to merit a Press Release.

Just make sure it is £2 plus.

10 x £10k is £100,000 so plenty to go for without an rns.

I think we need to qualify "actual deals" to "announcable deals". If it's less than 100k it's not announceable, doesn't mean that they aren't signing deals, especially in this environment

"It does rather make you wonder, with the lack of actual deals, what data SW was using to to stake his claim on that the "decision period for new contracts appeared to have shortened from months to weeks." Which contracts?"

I do not oppose your comment at all,
Invest, do you think they are not being true and accurate?

The IM buy from SS actually made me wonder WTF is this..

I took as positive unless IM has lost the plot.

I would agree with a little more news.

Apart from that. This is AIM so who knows..

I have a feeling something is going on behind the scenes.

Why the hell would you invest in a cloud based remote work option in this time? 🙄
