12/3/2020 15:01 | Companies like A+E and Bloomberg will find it easier to rapidly and urgently expand Blackbird use across their operations to help their employees work remotely. | nickb
12/3/2020 14:58 | Bloomberg uses AWS I think AWS has the biggest set of Media companies of all the Cloud providers. Great to see our relationship appearing stronger. | nickb
12/3/2020 14:32 | Would prefer it if IM said new customers. Implies that AWS is being used for existing accounts. No new news. | bonio10000
12/3/2020 14:31 | Well, the bubble was huge and markets were 50% over normal validations. Assuming markets overshoot on the downside, look to 30% to 40% of highs. Doesn't help when 50% of the market is passive funds that automatically buy on the way up to re-balance and on the way down.... On the upside - at least it might finally finish Deutsche Bank off. I assume behind the scenes that financials are in serious trouble. | bonio10000
12/3/2020 14:16 | Lived through a few crashes but this one feels different | nickb
12/3/2020 14:16 | Unprecedented can't believe my screen. Armageddon | sideshowbull
12/3/2020 14:15 | Ian post on LinkedIn Yesterday we announced Blackbird plc would for the first time showcase at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) booth at NAB 2020. Sadly due to global health concerns around coronavirus, this event has correctly been cancelled. Blackbird will notify everyone in the next few days how we will exhibit virtually. We are currently leveraging AWS for a number of live customers in the global sports, entertainment and news verticals. Organisations working with video on a large scale need to be able to rapidly and remotely easily access, view, edit and publish their content to all platforms and devices for audiences to consume. With Blackbird running on AWS, companies can drive huge productivity efficiencies across their operations and allow teams to work remotely. | nickb
12/3/2020 14:02 | Well, this virus malarkey seems to have had quite the impact on markets. | bonio10000
12/3/2020 10:22 | So IM - what's the score? Are we busy as flies signing up a few more Soho companies that might pay an extra £500 a year? or are you going to announce something meaningful this century? | bonio10000
12/3/2020 07:36 | It’s a bit more than a web designer! I am thinking our marketing director is top notch. | nickb
12/3/2020 07:12 | BIRD, one of most read RNS yesterday. | sideshowbull
12/3/2020 06:49 | No idea why they couldn't have paid a web designer to do that straight away. The last rebrand and website was under IM too. | bonio10000
11/3/2020 23:16 | Nice!! About time. 2 years ago it was dreadful. Last year it was marginally better. This is miles, miles better - the UX and branding on this is exceptional, particularly for a company of their size - definitely looking at the big leagues! Clearly prepped for anticipated NAB exposure which is a good sign. Money well spent IMHO. | pat_cash
11/3/2020 21:41 | NEW BLACKBIRD Website | nickb
11/3/2020 21:26 | I think any NAB timed announcements in the industry will happen so if we do have any OEM announcements I think they will still be announced. | nickb
11/3/2020 21:24 | sickness I don’t think companies knew but so many big names pulled out in the last 48 hours and before a decision by NAB was made. Today’s rns was probably drafted sometime ago and we knew it anyway because it was on the nab website under the AWS stand. | nickb
11/3/2020 21:13 | Sickness. Agreed | cabi1
11/3/2020 21:00 | So would it be likely any announcements they were planning to make at NAB would be brought forward, or even announce the results early. I think the RNS was just a name dropper. All the exhibitors would have known 24 hours in advance the show was going to be cancelled so BIRD chucked out an RNS to name drop Amazon knowing it would look stupid announcing later on that they were on the Amazon stand at a cancelled show. | sickness
11/3/2020 20:51 | From Thursday 11th March all staff who can work from home have been instructed to do so. This will be 90% plus of the workforce. I hope in their next communication they can get the dates correct. | mcsean2164
11/3/2020 20:25 | I cannot give any advice as I only trade or invest for my own gain. I hold BIRD. I hold BTC I hold GOLD Plenty of other dogs too. Google uk stockchallenge for my dogs. IMO BWTFDIK | sideshowbull
11/3/2020 20:17 | Lower bonds mean lower rates and the more attractive a non-yielding asset becomes. Lose money on bonds or cash or hold gold? The latter please. | bonio10000
11/3/2020 20:15 | No, but it is also about Bonds too. This is when chart geeks come in handy. BWTFDIK | sideshowbull
11/3/2020 20:08 | Cut rates USD declines - gold rises. | bonio10000
11/3/2020 20:06 | My old mucker always said when US cut rates, buy the dollar. That was 20 years ago, are we still thinking like that? I am buying/holding BIRD and BTC holding the rest. BWTFDIK | sideshowbull |
