15/4/2024 19:42 | Spoon Possibly jumping the gun? I would have thought he needs the full paid version, you can't rush this to an end user. | nickb
15/4/2024 18:44 | EVS seems to have been busy this month with 4 news releases of which 2 appear to be US based: Live Media Group (LMG), the premier mobile production truck provider for entertainment and sporting events across North America, has selected EVS’ Strada® routing solution to power its latest state-of-the-art production trucks. This choice follows a thorough evaluation process aimed at finding a reliable, fast, flexible, and powerful ST 2110 complete broadcast system that would meet the needs of its clients. EVS, a leader in live video production solutions, and Vizrt, a leader in real-time graphics for content creators, announce today the extension of their strategic technical partnership. The combination of EVS XT and XS-series servers, and Vizrt’s flagship studio automation solution, Viz Mosart, has for many years provided broadcasters with a high-level of control and flexibility for 24/7 seamless operation playout. This support now extends to the XS-NEO, EVS’ software defined server. The XS-NEO builds upon the legacy of EVS speed and reliability, while delivering the codec flexibility that modern news operations demand. This new collaboration integrates Vizrt’s expertise in automated production tools with EVS’ renowned capabilities in live broadcast technology, aiming to deliver an out of the box solution for both ingest and automation-based playout. | chriscallen
15/4/2024 18:19 | I was planning on waiting for the full (paid) version of elevate.io but have just sent the link to a good friend YouTuber to see what he thinks. He is a pretty busy guy but hopefully he will have a play around and give some feedback. He has 450k subscribers and does 15-30m videos usually so should hopefully be the right sort of fit for elevate | spoonmuff
15/4/2024 18:07 | Well, we now know the £1m was to cover overheads. Because I can't see any of it/much of it being left when whatever a full launch is arrives. | bonio10000

15/4/2024 17:44 | Probably Nick Nothing from EVS either Still hopeful for Elevate but was expecting more of a splash tbh | geheimnis2
15/4/2024 17:41 | Geh Nothing seems to be happening for Blackbird as far as NAB is concerned. It feels like the traditional M&E market is fading away for us | nickb
15/4/2024 17:33 | This is all pretty dull Or am I missing something? | geheimnis2
15/4/2024 17:14 | Bonio Sorry I don't know | nickb
15/4/2024 15:56 | NickB. Nice. | cabi1
15/4/2024 15:50 | Nick - you mentioned an editor before who had signed up for Elevate and was wondering where it was. Have they used it? | bonio10000
15/4/2024 15:39 | Still having great fun and success with elevate and this is just the free version. This weekend I have been using the new AI tools in Davinci to prep media for elevate, very powerful and interesting. Once elevate has its own AI plugins and we have the full paid version toolset its going to be incredibly powerful for creators. | nickb
15/4/2024 14:43 | Not sure it will be an RNS but we will probably hear how NAB went then an RNS for the AGM date. That’s my guess for the next two weeks. | spoonmuff
15/4/2024 14:29 | Let us see what he can do, I reckon he will go with my plan!! | nickb
15/4/2024 14:24 | ? Not sure if clocktower has the ability to manipulate the price. Clocktower, do you control the blackbird sp? If so, be advised NickB wants you to leave it drift for a while. Personally I'd prefer if you could put it back to 40p so I can cash out 🙏 | mcsean2164
15/4/2024 14:10 | clocktower Let it drift ... for now | nickb
15/4/2024 14:10 | NickB. Exactly. | cabi1
15/4/2024 14:08 | Clocktower. With a bit of luck it does drift. Means I get more shares in me new ISA, before this takes off. | cabi1
15/4/2024 14:08 | Cabi Adobe Premiere has a lot of users but no love or loyalty. Davinci is very powerful but has become very complex so doesn't really address the creator market Avid has its issues but it works and won't let you down and pro editors are super glued to the Avid however huge uncertainty about its new owners intentions. Apple Final Cut Pro seems to be dying but does Apple even care? Apple are so secretive everyone has given up hoping for new things. I wonder if there is an opening for a TRUE Cloud native TRUE collaborative video editor platform with a market place of lots of exciting plug ins? It can't come soon enough, lol! | nickb |
