01/4/2024 12:55 | Salmon Possible, I don’t know I would have thought Mr Beast will end up on Avid for his Amazon Prime gig. I guess his YouTube Editing team either use Apple Final Cut or Adobe all traditional. You would think since they are a team they would be interested in Collaboration in the Cloud at some point. We need our full version to be ready for all this opportunity! | nickb
01/4/2024 12:42 | NickB I understand what you say. So, will Blackbird be able to ensure that anybody producing a video using the pro model will have an elevate identifier say at the end of the video so that anyone watching will know, if they are interested, that the video was produced on elevate. If elevate is the best pro video editor then maybe Mr Beast and other popular video editors would decide to use it for some or all of their work, just based on it's performance, and the connection with elevate may be a given. | salmon9
01/4/2024 12:19 | Salmon I suspect we can’t afford Mr Beast I think he is worth around $500 million and rising fast! He has just signed a deal with Amazon Prime TV for $100m The old giant legacy media companies couldn’t compete with Amazon to buy talent that gets viewers, times are changing. This is a good example of the power that is building in the creator economy and it’s happening very fast. Interesting | nickb
01/4/2024 12:11 | tegell I don’t think it needs any ‘improvements& It could have additional features That opens the interesting question At what point do you want users to upgrade to the paid version? Maybe what we have is close to enough for free? Just add a upgrade to pro button to easily elevate the user to the next level. I like what I see so I would have already pressed it! 😀 Unfortunately we don’t have the paid version yet. | nickb
01/4/2024 12:05 | Hope Mr beast team get to see us and like it enough | tegell1
01/4/2024 11:58 | And I get the feeling that those who have tried it on the board report elevate. Io is impressive ( with a few suggestions for improvements which is natural and not problematic if feedback is considered by bb as it appears) Is that a reasonable assessment of current position? | tegell1
01/4/2024 11:56 | We are definitely in the right place at the right time speaking the same language | tegell1
01/4/2024 11:43 | Super interesting post from the man at the top of the video influencer creator economy MrBeast @MrBeast Subscribe This past year i’ve slowed down our videos, focused on story telling, let scenes breathe, yelled less, more personality, longer videos, etc. And our views have skyrocketed! My fellow YouTubers lets get rid of the ultra fast paced/overstim era of content. It doesn’t even work ——— The above means that creators have to up their game in real storytelling video editing So out with the Toy editing tools I have been waiting for this shift. About MrBeast has a total of 45.7B views on their channel. How many subscribers does MrBeast have on YouTube? MrBeast currently has 248.0M subscribers on their YouTube channel. | nickb
01/4/2024 11:36 | Bending spoons isn’t a ‘Magnificent Seven’ Trillion $ company | nickb
01/4/2024 08:12 | Bending Spoons Ends Pursuit of Video Platform Vimeo Talks between companies ended in a disagreement over price. Bending Spoons is one of Europe’s largest app developers Maybe they might take us over, or they could licence PBB and build their own Vimeo. | cabi1
31/3/2024 17:43 | And the 3rd step is it’s too troublesome to move to another service. So lock in. Worth mentioning elevate will be storing all your video files which can only grow over time | nickb |
