Nick only posts facts :D Except those ones that haven't actually happened |
"bonio
That is just your perspective."
of course it is - why would it be anything else? |
Pat - I always thinks it makes sense to tease what you are doing. It keeps users engaged.
I don't get the point in hiding things like that.
Unless proven otherwise, my assumption is that it is not a short term release. |
Still can't sell many despite all the buying... The seller is clearly still there... But the significantly increased buying will take them out sooner... They can only sell once! |
bonio That is just your perspective.
Re collaboration True Collaboration is really for Teams and is absolutely a selling point
Free and Creator less so which is why it’s basic |
4.59 offered. |
IM exciting two weeks and true to his word.Payment gateway open in time for SXSW.Opening lifetime discount for the Beta Testers and those who have followed the story. Lovely touch and also clever.Blackbird and Elevate delivering on timeline promises consistently since Sumit Rai been at the Helm. Where others flounder Elevate.io keeps delivering and will continue to do so. Congratulations, team, absolutely superb. |
Bonio - they told us, for instance, at the AGM in Jun-24 they were working on audio editing and further colour features, so I think they must have some in the background. Pretty confident there'll be more to come soon, and it absolutely makes sense to reveal that closer to a major event. For now they can massively undercut Sequence, in case they start trying to pick up initial customers. |
Between 24/09/2024 and 20/11/2024 BIRD added 30K of users. we haven't got a current figure for the free users but by SXSW in March they will have a months worth of paying users signed up. If they are good they will likely publish them.
NickB The numbers are as you say huge and even at £15 average price per user the initial target of 1M users would produce £90M a year of sales revenue say £63M profit or over 16p a share which puts the current share price in context. Allenby thought the average sales revenue per customer woul be in the mid £30s so if correct they are expecting £126M in profit |
Bonio they're not - they've just confirmed by their launch that they believe/know that users will pay for 500Gb storage, 2 users and removal of the branding - plus the promise of some extra features soon.I imagine the further market research will be to understand how much 'Pro' or 'Enterprise' users will pay for additional tiers and what features they will pay for? |
Nick
I think my assumptions are backed up by everything since the Special Event. We have a good 18 months of evidence.
I'm slightly perplexed that with Sumit's experience they are still at the stage of trying to work out what people want to pay for.
That is bizarre to me.
Clearly, collaboration is not the be all and end all killer they hoped for and they are needing to pivot away from that as the main selling point. |
Market place was always going to be later as you need a user base before you can launch a 3rd party market! |
bonio Maybe although a very narrow window
I think their style is too ease in rather than blast in they are very clinical in what they do which is why the product is quality rather than rushed and buggy.
Even payment gateways need early users
Valid for only 30 days suggests maybe those ‘Near Term’ features might be done by end of March? |
Jbravo, I guess that's what we'll find out over the next month or so... I do believe that they will drop a load of features at/just before SXSW - the people there will be very discerning types who need to be impressed.... and hopefully will be! |
I'm not convinced from the wording they have an all star bench of add-ons to bring onto the field in the short term.
Nothing in the last 12 months suggests that.
We are where we are and they have signalled what will be released in the short term.
Talk of marketplaces was also just nonsense and hyperbole in anything but the long term. |
Feature light eh? Brave... or desperate.
What proportion will try it, only to say "no thanks not good enough" never to return? |
Could be right Bonio. I also think they'd want to test the payment gateway a little ahead of SXSW. If they have some features 'in the wings' they're more likely to reveal them around time of SXSW, than right now. |
Chris
Difficult to put numbers on because the numbers are so big!
100 million editors is one projected number!
Opportunity is huge and the creator plan looks focused on the target I reckon
Struggling to find obvious competition |
I would imagine some of the reason for the early launch, such as it is, would be to allow them to maybe put some figures in the finals - even if it is only, say, 500 paying customers. |
you could well be right on share price level chriscallen, it is a low for those in the know, which doesn't seem to be many of us!!
i don't think many others will buy in until we actually see income in the accounts, either published accounts or an RNS announcing significant paying user numbers. |
NickB I've checked and you are right it's the bait for those in education which makes the price comparison even more in elevate's favour. So the big unknown is how many of its users are casual and low level of use that may well be price sensitive. Some estimates say Adobe Premiere Pro has some 33M users so it is likely that the bottom end of its customer base will be well into the millions. Even 100K of those at £15 would generate £18M of revenue less Allenby's estimated costs of 30% = £12.6M or 3.8p a share profit... so the present share price looks to be a last chance to buy at these levels. |
elevate.io needs an app for mobile phones, so uploads can be done direct from phone. I've got tons on my phone that needs uploading. A hassle going phone to laptop to elevate.io |
