I don’t think anyone thought of that one!
They might buy ITV though |
Some suggestions on LSE that ComCast could be potential buyers.
I had not thought of this one, any thoughts? |
Cabi what was the reply? That thread posted below is a couple of months old, is there a new reply today? |
Worth posting this list again

Edit More Video and Audio tracks have arrived😀 |
Actually NickB your probably best to delete your reply as elevate.io just got back to him, as we don’t want to undermine them.
Good for them, very prompt. |
Hi Cabi I have replied to that Reddit poster
All he has to do is a quick sign up for a free account so up to him |
4.9 offered. |
Ortegaworm All part of the plan which I suspect they are laser focused on. |
There must be another delayed sell gone through, given the new buy/sell limits... |
Fully agree with that Ortegaworm.
("gotten"...from US?) |
Small and regular iterations of the product. We are clearly in stealth mode. Like the top horse racing trainers preparing their thoroughbreds for Cheltenham in March. We don't have money to burn. We need to make the biggest impact possible in the shortest time frame possible and then allow a natural organic growth curve. We have the platform in SXSW in March. I would expect at that point or just before the recruitment of influencers and the like to maximise the coverage of Elevate and the widespread buzz that will be created. There's no point doing that beforehand. It makes no business sense to me to start doing anything big prior to SXSW it will all coincide with the release of the tiered options. Yes, many will sign up for the free but will no doubt soon convert. I would imagine they may do a free trial for a week or something like that before a monthly reoccurring subscription kicks in. Sumit has been successful in doing this at Vegas Pro. He has the blueprint, charisma, and natural calmness and is going to pull this off. The current 40000 sign ups will have just been a test and learn approach, and we have already seen how effective that is. Sumit has always talked about momentum, and just like the horses at Cheltenham in March, it's all about pulling the whip out at the right time as timing is key. Relax and enjoy. We have not gotten much longer to wait, and just like the roar of the punters at Prestbury Park, we will all be cheering the Bird and Elevate home. |
NickB he says in post he’s already tried but no stock footage etc, plus I can’t reply on that group for some reason. |
Prices dropped as cyber said |
Cabi So yes recommend him elevate
No watermark is unusual in the free world
I think a lot of Reddit posters are kids with little money but they can be valuable in building a movement
The Free users can be the biggest complainers so there is that. |
Capable Video Editor For Chromebook?
Says he tried elevate.io but doesn’t have stock video integration and limits the amount of clips you can stack at once.
Is this something they will add do you think?
Cabi Yes stock footage can be added however anyone can add stock footage account now but you have to pay.
I guess on our paid tier they might give us some stock footage at no extra cost anyway stock footage is on the road map.
Stacked clips is now available this week
Going from 4 tracks video to a massive 16 Same with audio |
That'll be one of the 40,000 users then probably not coming back.
They really do need to get a move on as the market feels ripe.
Even a suggestion of what might be offered would be useful to at least keep sign ups engaged. |
Capable Video Editor For Chromebook?
The previous editor I used (Scenery) shut down a couple months ago, and I haven't been able to find a fully capable video editor since. Below are some things I'm looking for in a video editor;
-Available without Linux
-No or Small Watermark
-Free
-Stock photo/video integration
-Autosave feature
-Ability to stack many clips
-No video length limit in free version (or export limit per month)
I'm open to trying anything, if nothing else works I'll suck it up and deal with Clipchamp. Used [elevate.io](hxxp://elevate.io) for a second but it doesnt have stock video integration and limits the amount of clips you can stack at once. Extra points if it allows you to copy photos straight into the editor without downloading them first |
