SSB,
Anne has little to no relevance. She is a symptom of the stupidity of Bird not the cause of the current share price crisis.
The important thing is the product. People here are saying March although all I recall was q1 |
The next RNS must mention AI. It’ll be back to 20p in no time
(And that Anne has bought some shares) |
James No we are not as behind as you think
All the Cloud services now have video AI functions that allow us to tap into Such as Amazon AWS which elevate.io is on
And then there is generative AI
The creative winners will have tools that can pull all this automated AI power back to a human craft level to produce better content quicker and it better be collaborative |
Just watched Dragons Den.. Wow. Are we being left behind already. That young couple are incredible. AI? I've no idea but this product is impressive. Where will it end? |
What a good question. |
I don't think Choppity is aimed at our target market, but nevertheless there are a lot of AI-automated video editors starting to come out. At what point does the AI reach a level where it makes the need for manual/human editing completely redundant? |
In that case “launch the alert five”. |
On Dragons Den this evening hxxps://www.choppity.com/
Video editor for social media
Peter Jones invested £90k for 12.5% |
If you can't afford to support BIRD right now THEN YOU'RE NOT A BIRDER. What March? Will be all over by then.BWTFDIK |
Focus will come but for months now, they have been saying March, March, March.
We are simply going to have to wait until...............................March! |
No shares in BIRD with their own cash = no commitment.
I trust "skin in the game" NEDs
IM, SBS and even SW, SR have made the effort,
Some of us BIRDERS hold more than most all previous NEDS and old NEDs combined in pensions and ISAs.
Time for action.
I can't keep telling my investor friends how great my BIRD is to get us all "kicked in the nuts" repeateted -I have some friends willing to join but "scared" as no clear focus.

SSB,
I mean that's typically how it works. People work in exchange for money.
Most of the people in her age profile are not investors.

I think we all should chill out regarding execs and non-execs buying or not buying Blackbird shares.
People's financial situations are their own affair and we should not judge.
Saying you would buy and then failing to buy might seem disingenuous but there is still time to buy, and anyway, the price trend has not turned yet, so maybe she will buy after it turns upwards!
The role of non-exec is a curious one. Frankly, I don't feel it's necessary to have any, since the chairman/CEO might still ignore your "expert" input, or could buy it in from consultants when needed.
I suspect the current non-execs expertise will be of more importance further down the line when funding negotiations might be an issue.
Can't wait for the "ides of March". |
If SR gets above 3% he will have to declare, Hope it is not on the old microsoft word platform ;-) |
Feels like we're back to the days speculating about whether John Honeycomb would buy. It's a job. That's it. She either has no cash or doesn't believe in the company or it's not on her radar. A lot of people do not invest in the company for whom they work.
A friend was going for director roles. For her, it's just about the pay check. |
The company does not have to disclose SRs buys and sells as he is not a director. Yet he is one of the key players alongside SBS and IM. Company Law is still in the 1960s. |
Yes agree, if NEDS had bought in, the market would be so much more comfortable.
It then allows private investors to start making assumptions on - why not?
I know Summit bought, but he does not need to disclose.
And then the "rabbit hole" begins.
Why are they not buying, what do they know that we don't..?
Or may be they are so confident in BIRD that convincing the small PI's they are not going to lose their pension pots is not a problem?
Definitely do not want any "new attention"
Selfish?

Couldn’t agree more. A hefty show of confidence now, with the share price on its knees and in the launch quarter would work wonders |
Agree jbravo - which is why it was a big disappointment, from an otherwise excellent start. |
The funny thing is, if Sumit, Anne et al spent £40k and bought a million, maybe they'd double their money with the share price going berserk lol |
Maybe. Fairly basic misunderstanding for a Chair to be making. But possible of course. |
jbravo2 - fair point on IM/SW purchase.
I don't think she changed her mind or was telling porkies.
I think she very very naively thought, when asked, "will the NEDs be buying shares", that the person meant: "I want the NEDs to be incentivised, will you be receiving share options".
Of course, what us investors wanted to know was "you've just joined a company that is promising big things. Do YOU believe in it enough to invest your own capital".
The answer was "No" (which is fine, she may not be a big risk taker), but she said "Yes" and then didn't buy. |
