Can someone point me to the relevant experience IM has with a consumer based product?

Cabi I can’t tell you I’m right about what will happen in the future! For me the weak link is the City and its lack of backing at this stage of business development and any need for extra funding.
I can only imagine Blackbirds relationship with the City must be very difficult and they simply don’t believe anything!
I guess they will wait until revenue but that tells me that Tech companies shouldn’t list in the U.K. because at some point there has to be some imagination of possibilities in disruptive technology. Stick with the US market forget London is what I have been doing with Blackbird my only UK investment now, ever!
Anyway Hopefully they will miss out if we get acquired!
elevate is a great product for the creator market that is the only thing I know |
Salmon 22344 that's clearly true, but we don't yet know whether Elevate has enough features behind the paywall to tempt people to pay.... |
HF.
Exactly lol. |
Only invest what you are prepared, and can afford, to lose. |

Life change, as in going scint? |
Ask yourself. How many BIRD do you need to make a life change?
How many punk? (EASTWOOD)
Not many these days,
Worth it, but then I am already in,
No advice,

Cabi No idea, we talk about it here daily , that’s enough for me😀
Sounds to me like you are looking for confirmation because you are unsure about the product?
I can’t imagine Reddit attracting the type of user that will pay.
I would rather see an internal elevate community myself.
I don’t think the company is pushing for social chat at the moment and yes that’s something that they can control.
Anyway I’m sticking with acquisition sooner rather than later
The product is great, ground breaking, it’s done, ready to go, they achieved it, the impossible and the stock market has punished them!
The rest is bells and whistles anyone can do
That is my perspective for what it’s worth. |

“Interesting isn’t it, as if by design?”
That’s nonsense, as if Blackbird can control chatter.
So why do you think no one is talking about it? |
I did read one CapCut user who said that elevate wasnt bad but didnt have enough effects and didnt have a green screen editor which everyone raves about in CapCut
https :// www. capcut.com/tools/green-screen-editor |
"From what I read on Reddit about CapCut, people aren’t willing to pay, as they are all getting the hump because everything they like about it is behind a pay wall now."
It is all a bit absurd when they expect everything for FREE...even storage.. shows the juvenile mentality of many users there....Inevitable there would be a CapCut Pro
They have given their data away for free , now Capcut have all the data they need....time to pay !!
YouCut has a lot of followers and there is a lot Free there.. I doubt Scenery could keep up with the likes of CapCut and YouCut
Elevate is for those who have creative IDEAS and SKILLS to edit and create stories without all the gimmicks that mostly dont add a lot, except short attention spans
Totally different ball game
Right now I cant imagine too many elevate users feeling they need to follow a Reddit forum. They are smart enough to work things out and to send a message to get a straight forward answer direct back from the elevate team.
It wont be too long before users are showing their creations using elevate and people getting to see what is possible. |
Having read today's comments I suggest that it is important to remember that IM's clearly stated objective is to target the professional video editor market, and they will surely, without question, expect to pay a subscription for the extras that they will need, over and above what is expected in a free product. |

Capcut 17.6 million in revenue for July alone. I think they're doing okay.
From the rns, there is no way to prove those registrations are real. If I was an unscrupulous investor and had a large investment in bird, I could buy 10k registrations for around €1000.
Bird would never know. |
We all agree that we don’t know the level of engagement of the 40k and have no idea how many will convert to paid
Doesn’t need to be repeated |
Who is more scared?
NOT SSB.

at 5p It Feels like a clever psych ops now! |
Interesting isn’t it, as if by design?
Perhaps the new owner will get all the credit (that’s in my theory)
“Wow have you seen $$$##(insert big name) new Creator tool”
😂 |
NickB.
What I don’t get is if elevate.io is so great why is there no chatter anywhere about it.
People talked about Scenery and you see people on Twitter following Sequence and commenting on their posts, and they haven’t even launched yet,
Elevate has just 35 followers on Twitter, most of them are probably us.
I find that quite worrying.
You would expect to see something out there, or maybe I’m wrong. |
NickB.
I just never imagined this far on from the special event and the freemium launch, and this close to paid version we would be down here.
Blackbird always disappoints.
Let’s just hope for the first time in their history elevate.io can actually succeed, where everything else they have ever launched has failed.
EVA failed.
Captevate failed.
OEM’s failed.
PBB failed.
Elevate.io ? |

The FREE at all costs crowd have to be managed somehow. I have also noticed they tend to be the biggest complainers, McSean will be a Free user no doubt.
However it might be another companies problem 😀 |
More Riddles. |
SSB
Absolutely |
@Nickb then one has to look at, if you have enough before what I think is happening, before it happens... (no advice).
A bit of a gamble but seems the way they want it..
May be my fault..
did ask for a Friday 5pm RNS if anything happens to ruin a few moron's days..
Petty? Years of hurt?..

McSean.
It will definitely be 40k individuals signing up with their email address.
They aren’t going to make those numbers up.
Obviously the big question is are they staying, or just inquisitive, and if they are staying, will they pay up.
From what I read on Reddit about CapCut, people aren’t willing to pay, as they are all getting the hump because everything they like about it is behind a pay wall now.
Many are just leaving and going elsewhere for free, even if inferior software.
My concern is even when our paid version launches are we going to convert enough people before the money runs out.
They won’t attempt a fund raise until they can prove they can monetise, so it’s a big gamble still, and that’s why we are down here, and no significant buying.
If we get a 100k user announcement before year end, and some major updates, and Anne, Youri, and Nick buy a few that might help. |
