23/6/2022 19:24 | If there's anyone still here who holds BMZ shares this might be of interest. After BMZ was delisted from AIM it went through various name changes and is now part of QX Resources. It looks like they want to clean up their share register because I have received a letter from them to say that all small shareholdings ( less than 11,364 QX shares ) will be automatically sold on or after 22nd July. In my case I had 5829 shares of BMZ which appears to translate into 583 shares of QX. This shareholding originally cost me £1000 and at the current price of QX shares of $0.02 AUD it is worth about £6. Not one of my more successful adventures in investment but at least this will draw a line under it and I can console myself with a cheap bottle of wine! Pity they chose such a lousy time to buy back the shares, back in April they were briefly worth $0.09 AUD. | obbig60
15/2/2022 11:34 | GB90.. - Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply. At the time BMZ delisted I had around 6000 shares, which would have been worth about £60 at the last price on AIM. So probably worth about £2 now? Certainly not worth wasting any time over! At the time I had them in an isa account with Alliance Trust (before it was sold to ii ) but they converted the shareholding into my own name after delisting. | obbig60
14/2/2022 21:30 | hi obbig60 I'm pretty sure your old BMV shares are next to worthless. I kept mine in my TD waterhouse (now ii) account. Hence they got updated at the correct rates to QX resources in Oz. I'd estimate the current value is about 1/30th of the original value. So unless you had millions in there....it's unlikely to be worth the hassle now. Hope that helps. 14/2/2022 16:10 | Perhaps nobody still reads this thread, but just in case there is anyone out there - here is a question: I assumed that my shares were worthless after BMZ delisted from the AIM. However from time to time I seem to get correspondence from Australia. BMZ seems to have gone through various transformations since it left the AIM and now appears to be part of an Australian company called QX resources. My question is this: Does anyone know how to convert a shareholding in BMZ into a holding in QX? I tried asking the registrars but they wanted £50 to tell me how many shares I owned! Since I suspect my holding is worth very little now it was not an offer I felt I could take up. | obbig60

18/3/2015 10:19 | AIM RULE 1 In order to be eligible for AIM, an applicant must appoint a nominated adviser and an AIM company must retain a nominated adviser at all times. The nominated adviser is responsible to the Exchange for assessing the appropriateness of an applicant for AIM, or an existing AIM company when appointed as its nominated adviser, and for advising and guiding an AIM company on its responsibilities under these rules. The responsibilities of nominated advisers are set out in the AIM Rules for Nominated Advisers. If an AIM company ceases to have a nominated adviser the Exchange will suspend trading in its AIM securities. If within one month of that suspension the AIM company has failed to appoint a replacement nominated adviser, the admission of its AIM securities will be cancelled. | dublem

26/1/2015 07:09 | What is all that about?? Gives me oodles of confidence.. not! 20/1 Following a reconciliation of Black Mountain's total shares on issue, the Company became aware that an additional 3,555,117 shares had previously been incorrectly admitted to trading on AIM during 2014. Subsequent to an announcement made on 24 December 2013, on 3 January 2014 11,856,212 new Black Mountain shares were admitted to trading on AIM on the basis that these new shares had been unconditionally allotted. The allotment of these shares was in fact conditional on the execution of a loan facility agreement and they should not have been admitted to trading at this time. | valentine
