If there's anyone still here who holds BMZ shares this might be of interest. After BMZ was delisted from AIM it went through various name changes and is now part of QX Resources. It looks like they want to clean up their share register because I have received a letter from them to say that all small shareholdings ( less than 11,364 QX shares ) will be automatically sold on or after 22nd July.
In my case I had 5829 shares of BMZ which appears to translate into 583 shares of QX. This shareholding originally cost me £1000 and at the current price of QX shares of $0.02 AUD it is worth about £6. Not one of my more successful adventures in investment but at least this will draw a line under it and I can console myself with a cheap bottle of wine!
Pity they chose such a lousy time to buy back the shares, back in April they were briefly worth $0.09 AUD.

GB90.. - Many thanks for taking the trouble to reply. At the time BMZ delisted I had around 6000 shares, which would have been worth about £60 at the last price on AIM.
So probably worth about £2 now? Certainly not worth wasting any time over!
At the time I had them in an isa account with Alliance Trust (before it was sold to ii ) but they converted the shareholding into my own name after delisting.

Perhaps nobody still reads this thread, but just in case there is anyone out there - here is a question:
I assumed that my shares were worthless after BMZ delisted from the AIM. However from time to time I seem to get correspondence from Australia. BMZ seems to have gone through various transformations since it left the AIM and now appears to be part of an Australian company called QX resources. My question is this: Does anyone know how to convert a shareholding in BMZ into a holding in QX? I tried asking the registrars but they wanted £50 to tell me how many shares I owned! Since I suspect my holding is worth very little now it was not an offer I felt I could take up.

BMZ has relisted on Australian ASX. Running an African phosphate mine. Still own silver mine related assets which are not being mined currently.

Shares still exist but only able to trade on Australian market ASX
If you do an internet search for Hotcopper BMZ there is some information on the hotcopper Australian share forum.

Hi, please could someone explain what this means?

I did have a few shares in BMZ...do these shares still exist, or have I lost everything?

Also will this company come back on AIM?

Appreciate if someone could advise.

Many thanks

So much for funding in the last quarter.

The looseness of the tongues and the lack of action in BMZ is, well...

And as for the people who post cr*p like they have a friend in the city that says funding is going to happen. Is this not illegal.

People in the city do not give a sh*t about BMZ, it is not on their radar. And they are not going to tell someone who is then going to post it on a message board and potentially get them into trouble.

Strange - no share price change or trades and silver at a day's high. Nearly always moves up with silver. Perhaps a run up in the last half hour.

Quite possibly. The sells the ones who were scared out. And the buys the derampers who mugged their shares. There should be a law against it.

If AGQ is up - this will be up too. I concur this should go alot higher today.

So we have this

Liquid Millionaire

BMZ

One of my hot tips for the rest of 2013 is silver play BMZ

Silver production starts next month and BMZ are just soooo cheap / undervalued

A serious re-rating is on the way for BMZ

And then this

Liquid Millionaire

Jungmana 19 Feb'14 - 10:15 - 386588 of 386610 2 0

If BMZ sack Peter Landau tomorrow it will jump 100% imo. That man is one big drag on that company.
Just look at his record in COOL and RRL.

Could not agree more Jungmana. Until he goes and BMZ actually start being a producer [over a year late!] then imo BMZ will unfortunately be held back.

LMAO

Lol this is so funny to see 29coward and the other derampers trying to knock BMZ and ramp other silver companies. Someuwin great post from you mate putting them straight about why BMZ is alot better bet than AGQ and is alot more advanced from them too. I like the comments from some de-rampers saying "Yeah but look at all the delays at BMZ". Yep you cretins thats why you can buy now at 6p and not paying 20p, its already in the price. However would you have wanted them producing months ago when silver was at an all time low or do you want them producing when silver is on the up and the price is about to go through the roof. BMZ may have just played a blinder.
The fact you can buy here so low is a buying opp and not a time to whinge, take advantage of it before you are paying a hell of alot more than current share price

Tops post mate

Jungmana - you only need to prove up a JORC reserve if you are trying to raise a large amount of capex to build a mine.

BMZ don't need to raise capex because they already have the mines built (plural) thus they don't need to waste time and money JORC drilling.

All THREE projects host previously operating mines.

New Departure: "Geological reports completed in 1998 identified six separate undeveloped ore blocks within the historic mine estimated to contain 100,000 – 120,000 tonnes of Ag at an estimated average grade of 700 – 750 grams Ag per ton"

Conjecture Project" "a mineral reserve study completed in 1981 on the Conjecture Mine provided highly detailed historical reserve block information which had been calculated from data available at that time. Importantly, this identified historic mining blocks estimated to contain 650,000 – 700,000 tonnes of Ag at an estimated grade of 280 – 370 grams Ag per ton."

$60m - $70m has previously been spent already developing a 600m shaft. Have only mined 10% of the historical reserve!

Also: BMZ has exclusive access to the nearby Lakeview Mill to process the ore. The mill, which is permitted and less than 4km from Conjecture, has been refurbished to a current capacity of 300tpd and has an estimated replacement cost in excess of US$8 million.

BMZ have massive assets (which would cost 100s millions to reproduce from scratch.)
