The Company has reconciled its issued capital and released from escrow
25,000,000 fully paid ordinary shares.

Following the reconciliation and release from escrow, the Company will have a
total of 119,625,361 ordinary shares on issue. Application will be made for the
escrow shares to be admitted to trading on the ASX and AIM. Trading in the
shares is expected to commence on AIM on or around 21 January 2015.

Well, it certainly generated a bit of volume. If news is afoot, the company will have to issue an RNS pretty soon, or else a denial following unusual share activity. However I'm not sure that PL is too concerned about the finer points of the rules

I understand what you are saying but the share fall was gradual and over months. I know because I have a few left in my account. The share price rise today was 100% at one point within minutes. Besides whether I want it or not is irrelevant - if it is something the company should be doing to comply with the rules.

The MM's are spiking up quite a few rubbish shares in the past couple of days in the hope they'l get some naive pi's jumping in...

PL really should have put out an RNS about this share price movement. The significance within a very short period certainly warrants one.

Another thing that catches ones eye is the fact it's moving on next to no volume, which suggests to me MM's very low on stock.It's very hard to buy at present .

It does not read that they were expecting Alcythem's funding to complete within several weeks. It actually says they are assessing the suitable finance options and expect this finalised with a few weeks.

It might mean what you say but if it does it is badly written. I am under no illusions here about this management but have made money by punting shares at the bottom of a cycle by ignoring premature predictions of imminent doom.
