Significant Channel Sampling Results at New Departure Silver Mine

Black Mountain Resources Limited (ASX | AIM: BMZ) ("Black Mountain" or the
"Company", the silver focused development company with interests in the US, is
pleased to announce that high grade silver results have been returned from
channel sampling at its New Departure Silver Mine in Montana.

Highlights

* Extremely high grade sampling results surpass expectations with up to 422
oz/t of silver (`Ag') returned over 1.9m - grades never before seen with
historical results

* 25% of samples taken from Blue Dot Level showed mineralisation of Ag 3oz/t
or above

* 111 channel samples were taken in total from the Main Drive and Blue Dot
Level in line with the Company's strategy to complete its 3-D mine model
ahead of production upon securing financing

* Results highlight that the Blue Dot level has the greatest potential for
hosting a mineral resource in the downward and northwest plunging remainder
of the ore body as well as confirming existing historical results

* A second round of underground sampling is planned in August to expand the
known high grade zones and move into production

in mind, as we finalise funding to enable us to meet our production goal at New

further sampling will be undertaken in the coming six weeks which will
contribute to our 3-D mine model and ultimately the commencement of mining."

Yes, the salaries can be very high for such small companies and they seem to be able to say what they want.

Are we not due production or another set of excuses/production dates this month?

Steve: remember your highly informative posts warning of the team involved back in the old days (late 2012 I think) and the dilemma on balancing this with the apparent promise of the project/assets. Well done on selling when you did. I hung on for a lot longer to my cost, and still hold a few.

Easy in hindsight: the incompetence of the BoD has been truly phenomenal and the price of silver hasn't helped. We all got that wrong.

Starting from here the risk/reward dilemma is still there and you could still argue its a buy: for traders though rather than investors ;-). After all even RRL can recover, you just need to get rid of PL first...

The assets are still there and could be worth a great deal with the current management out of the way imo. The combination of fat salaries, incompetence and no skin in the game is what makes AIM a mockery.

I am astonished people are still buying and holding after the reserach I posted on the track record BOD about a year ag - not sure exactly when.
Just tell me ONE thing they have achieved - or one promise they have kept,since then.
I bought in a long while back, and then left after further research - at a small loss.
Please tick me down as much as you like for this posting, and I take no pleasure from being right. I would love to see it come good for all existing investors - but, with this BOD, IT WON't !!!

so....this company does nothing throughout the winter months due to the 'snow' and then in the warmer months does nothing either? Anybody any idea what is going on? Is the company just waiting for a better silver price to strike a better deal? Not a great strategy.

Unless they freeze their pay while they are waiting to keep the cash burn down.

Exactly mate, its coming at BMZ. yes they have had some delays but there again if they hadnt you wouldnt have been able to buy at 4p and £3 million mkt cap. Huge gains from here IMO. Time to buy is at the bottom, not at the top.

Best of Luck with PL, after resigning (?) from RRL he can devote more energies to BMZ! Aren't we lucky! OKAP has lost a money tree...who next (brewster has done it in IOP)...still...a number of milking cows in the OKAP purview...I watch, read and think and await be enlightened.

oooff - from discussions with PL, BMZ require a further 1.5M to push ND into production. This is currently being arranged. Alcyone may sort out its financing and the previous 3M agreement proceed.

What troubles me is I doubt BMZ will actually start production until 2015. Once management actually arrange funding for ND the decline will need to be completed, this will obviously depend on contractor availability (best case say 6 week to restart operation on site and complete decline), channel sampling to lower levels will then need to be undertaken (3 weeks?), once sampling is complete than toll treatments can be tested and agreed (4 weeks?).

So if funding was is place as of today I think production could start in September, only problem being BMZ would have to make arrangements for winter access and road openings - something which they couldn't manage last year.

I'm a huge fan of BMZ's concessions but management are utter tosh.
