The Chronic he say Hold! They think the shares "arguably" got ahead of events at 437p! Wonderful thing 20-20 vision ain't it. "Our advice to take profits on the 22nd July looks to have been well timed as the shares dropped 70p on release of results to 30th June". No mention of the fact that the whole market is bloody and has gone south for an early winter break.

Some good bits about increase from Black Wattle, the demand for coal still high and the 12m resource from BHP on stream 2007.

For those still on board they rate it "good value" at 253p.

To be fair to IC BISI was a Tip of the Year on 7th Jan at 201p, much lower than my entry point, well done IC, I must pay more attention in future.

Yes, well done, Chester. But I have to say the market is looking bloody awful, and mine won't be eating out much for a bit. :-(

Well done chester, a few punters jumped ship in the last 30 mins, the fact that this did not move the share price can only be good, even if there is only Numis on the bid. But all in all a reasonable day under the circumstances. The markets on the whole are cr*p. I am off down the pub with my first day in the blue for a while and its her indoors birthday! Made enough paper profit to buy her a pie and a pint.

K, for my personal benefit I hope your expectations are met, in this present market you need strong nerves with any share. USA up 130 one day down 130 next, calls for strong liquor never mind strong nerves. Anyhow its Trafalgar Day and England expects...

Good luck, I am still holding BISI and my breath:-)

No flag, GS - didn't spot them myself until after hours. THN's another one that was down on what looked like good results. although not so much.

Been away from a screen all day, just logged on to see a sea of red. Been seeing a lot of it of late. Could be some more to come before this market settles.

Wasn't expecting BISI results today and with no flag, so thanks for the posts guys. I will have to catch up, and DJ, I need to do the same with THN.

Excellent results imo and fwiw. Looks to me as though they are well on target to meet Evolution's forecast for the full year. The coal price has been falling, but most export prices are fixed until 2007. From 2007 on, substantial additional output from the Pegasus mine will start to kick in. Good value at this price as far as I can see, but wtfdik? Recent share price movements have been pretty scary, but seem to be due more to illiquidity than to any deterioration in the fundamentals.

What we need now is some sort of broker's note and new forecasts from Numis, but I don't know how to get hold of such a thing, if it exists.

Interesting to see that the power stations have to buy sulphur allowances, despite the Bush regime's opposition to any anti-pollution measures. But I believe that requirement only exists in certain US states.

I will second that emotion, one of those days, majority of my well researched and well timed investments :-) are contributing to a "blood on the moon day" all because some septic says he will release some oil?

I get the impression that a few have run scared and the good old market place is making hay while it is peeing down!

Have fun

This on the way down to 2-80 again if it fails at 3-10. Worth a buy at around 2-85 imho.

Hi DJ, you are made of stronger stuff than me! I am still in from around £2.60, so overall quite happy, but it is a bit too volatile to get me to top up. I know I should, but for the time being I am sitting on my hands.

Good Luck

Takes me back to my childhood!

Have a feeling that the movement of the last few days has more to do with the following rhyme than anything else :-)

"The Grand old Duke of York he had ten thousand men
He marched them up to the top of the hill
And he marched them down again.
When they were up, they were up
And when they were down, they were down
And when they were only halfway up
They were neither up nor down."

Don't suppose we will get anything from Numis until after the 28th so the run up could be indicative??

Have fun
