24/11/2011 18:00 | Lol, give him his due, he held his beliefs. Good on him, but seems a ridiculous strategy. Looking at all that profit dwindling away and becoming a huge loss to wait for it to come good again??? you have to take profits sometime! would sooner double up the stake and aim for half the target! We probably won't ever see 6000! so what would he do if we see 7000?! | and then
24/11/2011 17:36 | yeh i think it was the relief when it dropped that made him come after u...these things happen on free bb | joe moon
24/11/2011 17:35 | It was a printing error i tell yers, '6000' keep it real! T'was slightly tongue in cheek mr.Moon, meaning where are all the bullish comments too?! I think they materialised the week after and as usual became a great contrary indicator... | and then
24/11/2011 17:10 | i think topgun was having a pop at you for calling dow to 16,000 on the 28th october highs at and then - 28 Oct 2011 - 22:10:05 - 106025 of 113450 No-one's talking yet about this being the start of a new 4 year bull run to Dow 16,000! | joe moon
24/11/2011 16:02 | Hopefully it was obvious that the lower print changed things somewhat. As a sidenote, i'm serious about the euro heading towards 11,700 by the middle of next year, in which case its gotta get a move on! | and then
24/11/2011 15:54 | Aha lower print and a nice short set-up too, happy days! | and then
24/11/2011 12:29 | the reason we post is because if like me and trading from home this can and is a lonely job/hobby whatever u like to call it... no need to reveal the system think most can see what u are up to | jussyman
24/11/2011 11:30 | Ok Jussy! Keep at it mate! 'don't let the b*stards grind you down eh?!' The problem is, i've taken it about as far as i can without giving the system away. I understand that most like to see you post entry's to trades, whereas i feel that's pointless without a chart and if i were to do so it would just become a follow me statement, hence i don't do it. Nothing to prove and i guess i have to question why i do indeed post completed set-ups. In general they are for me to refer to whenever i adapt the system. I have indeed through months of study and trading developed the basic idea into my own interpretation and is still a work in progress. To be fair the market has been trending perfectly for it for the last 5/6 weeks. Not sure how Mr TopGun can ridicule this; and stuff like this! I've been a bear for the last two weeks on many indice's following set-up after set-up. Most look at previous performance or Price Action and believe cos its dropped it most be cheap and therefore it will bounce back. They are the ones who will let positions run with no stops and add all the way until, before they realise it, they hold a very heavy underwater position that just keeps getting worse, until the market pushes them past their mental capacity (or bank balance) and they hit the sell button. The market will usually change direction a couple of days after this event! | and then
24/11/2011 11:13 | I can't help it if your posts are so muddled - you're a very mixed up creature. | spaceparallax
24/11/2011 10:44 | If you feel honoured then you misunderstand my posts. I monitor you because of your chronic rudeness plus your obvious lack of investment skill, not because of any talent you have revealed to anyone via this BB. As near as I can tell, you lost virtually all of your money with ATD. Pretty poor investment performance, don't you think? Anyone with any investment skill would have cut his or her losses a long time ago. So tell us, what other hot investment ideas can you offer to readers of this BB? | david123456
24/11/2011 10:42 | please dont And Then i am learning everyday...hence my pathetic attempts today on ftse(see fx thread)..and reading of 20/100 ma crosses...but willing to use today on a slow (without US) day as a learning day.......keep it it up buddy | jussyman
24/11/2011 09:55 | Just want to explain this post and the reasoning with the addition of a chart; and then - 23 Nov'11 - 17:42 - 606 of 610 edit Am a bit wary of expecting much lower on the Euro right now. It is getting close to the correct angle to print a lower touchpoint for a flag on the daily, so i will be watching closely for reversal signals. Still within a valid set-up short, but it was a weak one, so if no lower print tomorrow or the next day it could see us pullback a few hundred points to the north... That would also suggest the dollar weakening a tad and therefore a bit of respite for the markets for 3/4 weeks... -------------------- This also explains my caution as to any further lower targets that i have suggested. They may well still happen; right at this moment the last LH's of the Audi and the euro are intact but being tested. I favour the upside but need a little more evidence just now, so, no trades for a mo... I can't give the reasons as to why a lower print on today's Euro daily candle would mean something, but trust me, it does... As we have made a positive start so far, i certainly have to have some caution with shorts for the (very) foreseeable future. Its possible we may see something like i have suggested on the above chart... | and then
24/11/2011 09:31 | I feel honoured that you hold me in such high regard and that you follow my trading so closely. Just a shame that the plaudits come from one of such modest intellect. | spaceparallax
23/11/2011 22:08 | joe, i use the overall target for general direction and then change to smaller time frames to find set-ups in the same direction. I then have the benefit of the backing of two set-ups, hence the success rate. The large spread means its too late for entry into the Dax set-up for my liking. I will hope something sets up in the morning. I will also hope to see a lower print on the euro. Its like a jigsaw puzzle, all the pieces need to come together... | and then
23/11/2011 21:37 | should i put u short dax in the ledger at? | joe moon
23/11/2011 21:35 | 5350 target for the Dax, which would suggest a lower print on tomorrows euro candle... | and then
23/11/2011 21:20 | Target achieved! | and then
23/11/2011 19:54 | ATD down sharply today. Time for another upbeat comment from super investor Space Parallex? Or perhaps time for another one of his famous 50,000 share buys (the kind that no one can find any record of)? | david123456
