09/11/2014 18:46 | Contrary to popular belief, a buy limit order is the only reason | lagosboy
06/11/2014 13:37 | More buying, someone is adding and suspect that is why the price came down. | gark
05/11/2014 16:24 | Democrat anti business stance impacting institutions like FTC who were becoming much more ferocious in their campaigns. Republican majority should help to create a more pro business environment. | gark
05/11/2014 16:01 | I see they swept into power but how did you reach a conclusion this would speed matters up for little old BILL ? | lagosboy
05/11/2014 11:42 | Republican win in mid term is better for us in terms of FTC. May allow us to settle earlier. | gark
04/11/2014 19:28 | Lost a bit of value since then but agreed. Like the management. | gark
04/11/2014 19:00 | By the way, look at when I set up this thread- 8 years ago. This is not a fly by night company. | wiganer
04/11/2014 10:43 | Well said, that man. | lagosboy
04/11/2014 10:35 | Let's put this into perspective, the partial contempt ruling was based on total transactions of $30mn of which BILL took 3% commission so $900,000. The carriers are facing class actions to which BILL has contributed to and is now indemnified from. There would be grounds for appeal in terms of double payment if a fine was based on total amount. Last time the FTC settled for a fraction of total. There is no date for a second hearing and now only $8.7mn of debt is outstanding soon to reduce to $6.3mn at end of December. I am sure that BILL would prefer to have paid debt down prior to settling the FTC action. As at June the company had a cash balance of $10.9mn. Since then the WiFi business has continued to grow and receive awards working with the likes of AT&T and Deutsche Telekom.I agree that the FTC is causing these depressed levels but think there is a load of potential in this company once that is resolved. | gark
04/11/2014 10:34 | The share price has not been weak of late - it has been around this level since April 2012. The implication of your unsupported view was that once the FTC decision was handed down that the share price would get pasted. With due respect I don't feel that have read too deeply into your post, rather I have addressed the nub of the issue. Anyway, time to move on now and just consider ourselves lucky that BILL was able to get a small dividend away in the meantime. | lagosboy
04/11/2014 09:49 | I suggest you re read my post as my comment was exactly that eg. The price is so weak of late because it will get pasted. What I am saying is perhaps there are more knowledgeable people who can predict a worse outcome hence why the price is where its at. I am suggesting perhaps down playing the outcome as the company and a few here over the years have sometimes done would be somewhat optimistic.I think it was a very simple comment and you have read to deeply into it and made much more of it than you needed to. | envirovision
03/11/2014 19:48 | envirovision - your commnet was that Bill was going to get pasted - that is already priced and more, so why you feel it will go lower I don't understand. More to the point on what do you suppoprt your comments that BILL will get pasted? | lagosboy
03/11/2014 19:01 | Lagosboy I dont follow you. Please explain why the shareprice is so low considering earnings then? | envirovision
03/11/2014 18:25 | envirovision, I expect better from you, odd comment to make. I place more reliance on auditors for the 31/12/13 accounts, management releases/updates since (none)and significant counter-parties that are happy to enegage in commercial activities with Bill. A bad outcome is already in the price. I rather like BILL at these levels. 8. Contingencies The Company is involved in various claims, legal actions and regulatory proceedings arising in the ordinary course of business. The Company believes it is unlikely that the final outcome of any of the claims, litigation or proceedings to which the Company is a party will have a material adverse effect on the Company’s consolidated financial position or results of operations; however, due to the inherent uncertainty of litigation, there can be no assurance that the resolution of any particular claim or proceeding would not have a material adverse effect on the Company’s consolidated financial position and results of operations for the fiscal period in which such resolution occurs. | lagosboy
03/11/2014 12:33 | Helpful comment! That is why the CEO (in the know) owns over 7% and around 60% is held by 3 investors. | gark
03/11/2014 11:36 | Constant weakness seems to suggest those in the inside clearly know this is going to getting pasted by the authorities and some. | envirovision
30/10/2014 18:04 | This is a share with very low levels of liquidity and an absence of market makers. Only way it goes up is to sort out FTC and start to pay dividends. | gark
30/10/2014 16:28 | Bleak is the wrong word here. The fact is this company is throwing cash out at a rate that will easily pay off its debts in the next year. It has provisioned cash to pay off its liabilities to LEC's and will have done the same for the FTC case. Its still putting together contracts with high powered companies and like stated recently they will have done the due diligence. The fact is this company is out of favour because of the uncertainty of the future, not that its going bust or bankrupt. | m1keg
30/10/2014 15:23 | When it reaches historic lows it looks more attractive. Getting closer but this is still priced to fail Got to have closure on court case at some point. It's looks bleak | trentendboy
30/10/2014 15:06 | Relentless, down again... | gark
29/10/2014 21:24 | Mikeg - completely agree! I think the company would like to grow faster through acquisition but are being held back by the FTC so once this goes away we should see faster growth. | gark
29/10/2014 21:05 | I think the settlement of AT&T indicates that a really massive fine should not be in order, though we were found in contempt and a judge led sum would take that into consideration. We have also already made settlements with the LEC's so we have already agreed to pay far more than the final fine and well above the profit made. It's a game of bluff but the goverment holds the cards really since they get paid whatever they do and will say the settlement/fine was heavy whatever the result. Think I'm like all of us here and just want this out of the way so we can see the future a bit more clearly. I may regret it but I still think this is now a well run company who is shifting its focus and doing so very professionally. Would love to see some idea of how the business see's revenue growth in next few years. | m1keg
29/10/2014 16:46 | If you read the news stories refunds are $80mn and penalties $25mn. We are talking about $30mn of charges that are being refunded via the phone carriers and for which BSG has contributed to and is now indemnified. BSG were acting as agent earning 3% of $30mn so under $1mn. I am not convinced that the penalty here is going to be anywhere near as onerous but would like some definition on this. Next year debt will be repaid, hopefully FTC will be sorted and we will have a flourishing wifi company! | gark
29/10/2014 14:23 | The risk of a high payment (they are usually more than expected) makes the risk of buying this share way too high given the possible rewards | trentendboy
29/10/2014 11:55 | Just a couple of semi-related links hxxp://www.cleveland hxxp://recode.net/20 Sorry, have no time now to explain my thoughts on how these relate to BILL in detail but the amount,AT&T's profit margin, settlement time for customers probably have bearing on BILL's position.
