The only fly in the ointment is the board haven't given a specific date for when they intend to return the 45p a share - hence the slide.

Madness selling at the moment imo as you risk losing 45p a share divi.

Happy to hold and wait for the finer details to emerge.

I have just checked on Stockopedia and they are stating it's this Thursday, August 26th 2021 for Bigblu Broadband PLC's Half Year 2021 Earnings Release.

Either way it looks like we should get a positive update by the end of next week.

According to this website BBB are announcing their first-half year results next Friday the 27th of August 2021.

From recent announcements BBB will have up to £48.6m from sale of QuickLine, plus £7.4m cash following previous sale = £56m mainly cash, some loan notes/equity, with 57.5m shares in issue. I make that 97p per share. Current price 104p. The remaining business in Nordic and Oz had turnover of £23m, and strong growth down under. Applying a price/sales ratio of 2 would give about 80p value on the rump. Current value of ~180p - I don't know why the market hasn't woken up to to this, as they have said they are planning a cash return to shareholders later this year.

Looking over Richard Griffiths activity here he looks like offering a reasonable floor towards 100p.

Cash return news due before end of Nov and what is left over looks lean and cash generative.

I hold, checking on my reasons and downside. Not a bad place to hide some cash for a while imho.

Hi Sphere. Looking at the significant holders list it appears to be Canaccord ditching the last of their holding imv. They had 3.99% at end of March. On the company investors website they quote Canaccord holding 3.05% (1,755,000) at end of May. So clearly been reducing.The two trades totalling 1,800,000 reported today should be them clear now.

Dull out there, but as noted by some keen observers above, a couple of interesting blocks gone through here with 1m and 800k at 102p. Possibly the sellers (perhaps just Canaccord?) who have taken this down from recent highs clearing?

Nonetheless, significant activity for BBB.

I'm fascinated to know what they're planning to do with surplus cash...Earnings enhancing acquisitions or a special divi for shareholders?
