Thanks for the link, Frank does come-over as a pretty formidable Scot, but very approachable F2F. By surprise BigBlu sprung-up amongst my ADVFN monitor feed this morning; at first pass the offer looked quite attractive - revenue growth continues! Tailwind anyone?

Hi, many thanks for the ii link. The balance sheet issues/treatment is laid bare as are the Numis high-level figures which IMO look pretty modest to me in terms of growth potential. Is Brexit really going to be so bad that we cannot operate a pan-European business model?!

Stockwatch: Put this AIM share on your radar

This is a fast-growing technology business, and some believe the share price could double.

Is £60 million AIM-listed "alternative supplier of superfast broadband" Bigblu Broadband (LSE:BBB) achieving genuine critical mass, which could potentially be appealing to a larger telecoms group? And is it also at a genuine inflection point into earnings growth, like its broker Numis proclaims?

continues...

I noticed in this morning's results that although BBB achieved net organic growth, last year's churn was up at 21+%. I thought we had sticky customers; thoughts/insight anyone? IMO less concerned about the considerable uplift in Admin costs.Interesting FT article this morning regarding "toob", another full-fibre FTTH start-up with £75m funding.IMO I still find it difficult to comprehend alternatives to satellite on an efficient-use-of-capital basis.

Agreed. fantastic news.

Picked as one of only two approved satellite broadband providers in France for this massive Euro100million French Governmental stimulus and grant package .

Domestic households will be able to apply for a grant up to Euro150 to help pay for set-up/activation fees.

That's a big incentive for users to subscribe to fast satellite broadband and a MAJOR STIMULUS and BONANZA for BigBlu .

Euro100m divided by Euro 150 per household equates potentially to a minimum of 660,000 ++ new satellite bb users coming onto the market.

WOW!

ALL IMO. DYOR.

Participation in France's first national subvention scheme

Bigblu Broadband plc (AIM: BBB.L), a leading provider of alternative super-fast broadband services, has received certification to participate in France's first national subvention scheme (the "scheme") grant for EUR100m, which is being officially launched by the French Prime Minister today. As a result, BBB, one of only two satellite distributors to have been granted certification, will be the only distributor in France offering unlimited broadband access through satellite.

The scheme will be offered to all households and businesses unable to access a minimum of 8MB/s broadband through ADSL/Fibre by 2020. The French Government is offering up to EUR150/household covering activation fees, kit purchase and installation costs. According to the Agence du Numérique, two million households will be able to benefit from the scheme.

Andrew Walwyn, CEO of BBB commented:

"We are delighted to have received certification to participate in the scheme. Government support is a key component of our growth model and there is significant scope for us to expand our operations throughout France and Europe as we work closely with our partners to ensure that we are providing market leading solutions."

I have just had bigblu broadband installed. Excellent customer service and installation process end to end. The price is now comparative to mainstream broadband providers but the speeds are consistently faster where i am. Big blu also give you a dedicated account manager, a real person with direct contact details. The installer said they are very busy with people signing up so all in all i am highly encouraged that BBB has massive potential to tap into this fast growing niche market and most importantly they have got theor product and price point spot on
