Yes and he [aid very little for his 22% and did not sell anything on the way to 180p or down to 80p - A very supportive shareholder.

halogen - in circumatances where there is a 22% retailer holder, significant director purchases and Net Assets (including the Booker Goodwill) of over 400million against a market cap of only 300m, I think a bid here is inevitable. I think there are five or six plausible scenarios:

1. MBO
2. Buager Bid
3. Bauger/MBO Bid
4. Somerfield Bid (I recently sold SOF at 152p because I thought a bid would cause a fall in sof SP)
5. Asda Bid to compete with Tesco Metro.

Outside bet Littlewoods or BHS

My favourite is the Bauger/MBO combined bid. I think it will probably come in October after poor sales.

IO would prefer a an imprived trading performance that would put it back 180p to 250p but a bid is likely to come in at 105p rising to 115 - 120p


Note Malcolm Walker still hold a significant holding as does Stephen Rose.
