12/9/2004 18:03 | lots of stories in the sunday papers, you would think they cant all be wrong ? | halogen
12/9/2004 10:21 | Times snippet suggesting the rise in BFG share price is due to MBO possibilities, but more likely Buager buying. | bigface
10/9/2004 15:33 | Yeh - BSL just cashed them straight in. | kingdwg
10/9/2004 13:22 | kingdwg Thanks Have you received your B shares yet. Keep Crowing | old crow
10/9/2004 10:15 | Hi old crow, still holding sbry, had a top up order in at 265 which came within a few pence of being filled. | kingdwg
10/9/2004 09:57 | Bigface Feeling better. SBRY starting to look interesting what say you and kingdwg. Keep Crowing | old crow
09/9/2004 22:49 | 120p is probably a reaistic target 97p not really enough - thanks unknighted | bigface
09/9/2004 19:49 | Extract from today's Interactive Investor Digest: "There are more bullish signs at Big Food Group, which I first noticed in July. The down trendline is more decisively breached to the upside now, and there was good volume under the move. As long as closing support at 80p holds, the breakout projects to a target of 97p. If there's a breakout over 97p, it will probably constitute a double bottom with a target of 120p." | uknighted
09/9/2004 19:12 | Price hit 90 today - looking like more aof a daytrader at the moment. I expect the good start toi September's weather is helping buoy sales irrespective of the bid speculation reported in the Times. | bigface
07/9/2004 07:58 | I was told yesterday that BFP have approached John Lewis to increase the Iceland stores in Littlewoods. | bigface
06/9/2004 08:38 | Also holding Bigface and kingdwg king note BARC moving nicely. Keep Crowing | old crow
05/9/2004 10:48 | Hi Bigface, yes I'm still holding on, can't remember my son holding but the wife is in. | kingdwg
04/9/2004 19:12 | Yes Kingdwg - way too low, but BFP has always been a volatile stock. Strong nerves required, but teh fall in sof may suggest they are gearing up to buy into bfp. Not 100% conviced sof woll pull it off but sof has nowhere else to go if it wants to remain independent. Whatever - I am holding firm - r u kingy and what about your son , is he in ,again, I recall he has made a few bob on bfp in the past? PS shame that the Teletext site has gone? | bigface
03/9/2004 09:58 | This seems to be quietly ticking back up again and volume was relatively high yesterday. We could well be in for some action, not before time. | kingdwg
27/8/2004 13:01 | I would expect BFP sales to be lower to Oct 2003 than to Oct 2004. Mainly because the Oct 2003 figures were excellent and due to a superb sunny August. The wet extraordinary weather this August make calculating turnover more difficult than usual. I expect Baugers praying for rain this summer - they are used to trading in shXt weather and will pick it up for 120 - 150p a share in my opinion. Note that for them 120 to 150p represents a much lower price overall as the bought very heavily (just after Bigface first time around) in the 20's and 30p's. As long as sales and profits are not so low to deplete their improving net asset position a bid and breakup is probable. I still think sof should gobble up Bfp and the two together could start to compete on fairer terms than at present. Otherwise sof is stuck where it is probably. | bigface
27/8/2004 10:34 | Look very cheap but with talk that wet summer weather may mean a disappointing second-quarter trading they could end up much cheaper. Agree a bid must be likely but then I've thought that for the passed few years! Very tempted but will stay out of these for time being. Good luck to those holding. | bungo
27/8/2004 08:29 | Yeh - we certainly seem to be making headway this last day or 2. | kingdwg
26/8/2004 21:28 | I agree (BF), BFP turnover cannot have gone unnoticed by the big boys, nor the number of outlets. I feel a bid is coming. I'm hanging on, even though my fingers are numb! | caribbean
25/8/2004 13:25 | yes tufty - a ridiculously undervalued stock You only have to consider the price sbry paid for 143 million of turnover from Jacksons to see the extent to which BFP is undervalued. I am not selling | bigface
25/8/2004 11:55 | soaking up the sells, something going on! | proifa
25/8/2004 11:53 | This is more active than normal today. Anyone know the possible reason? Regards T | tuffty2
22/8/2004 22:43 | I wouldn't buy on the basis of "fair" investment - I only buy when I am 100% sure of a winner. If you are halfheared about BFP at 72p I wouldn't invest Chrissey. I hold` 15K BFP See Bigfaces LA thread for an idea of how to make 300% from an unfavoured and overlooked company. | bigface
22/8/2004 18:25 | Be a fair investment at 72p. | chrissey
22/8/2004 11:32 | No not quite, 79p! | kingdwg |
