11/12/2004 17:44 | Any holders out there?! | tonyx
10/12/2004 15:49 | Market cap 540K See last interims re investments: -total valuation of 3 investments(INO, SGY & Blue Chip) as stated in accounts £182843 (at cost) -actual value as at 28/11 £465,814 -more now due to increase in INO share price. | tonyx
10/12/2004 15:13 | Just bought another 60K-I see INO is up a fair bit so NAV must be on the increase. | tonyx
20/11/2004 08:58 | The Sorrento was very good, not like the big casinos but more of a friendly atmosphere I thought. The Italian restaurant is also supposed to be good but I didnt try this while there. You only have to look at Stanley Leisure, Rank and London Clubs (I wish I hadnt sold LCI at 26p!) to see the potential in these gaming businesses. | japa
19/11/2004 12:54 | Japa What did you think of the Sorrento? I think this is a very worthwhile investment in BlueChip for bdt and will benefit them in the long term. | pokey1979
17/11/2004 21:31 | Japa - was it good? | topvest
17/11/2004 13:02 | I know they have three open, Dudley, wolverhampton and Walsall. Walsall is the latest, I went to the opening night a few months back! | japa
16/11/2004 21:30 | Japa - Thanks. I agree. The casino venture is a "JV" with a major US player and has significant prospects imo. I got the accounts from Companies House a year or so back. Looks like there are 2 open and 2 soon to be open sites. | topvest
16/11/2004 17:18 | Have a look at the website for Blue Chip, www.bluechipcasinos. | japa
06/10/2004 15:19 | On the up??? | daal43
21/7/2004 14:43 | bit of delayed activity after director buy? | nissi beach
09/6/2004 18:42 | I know for sure it is a 5% stake | hirschnathan
09/6/2004 14:52 | Hirsch - many thanks. I'm sure I haven't seen official confirmation of the size of the stake in Blue Chip either. It would be nice to have a bit more info in the public forum. ABUBRYN - I'm reasonably certain that both SGY and INO are lower than they were at the last results announcement, so that won't help the NAV. Rgds dell | dell314
08/6/2004 21:34 | Thank you, | daal43
08/6/2004 18:35 | Only a small move up on news but SGY will help this share indirectly? | abubryn
08/6/2004 18:09 | I called russel a few months ago and he referred me to (call) someone else. I can not remember who. But if you call him I am sure you will get the same info. Regards | hirschnathan
08/6/2004 16:02 | Hirsch - where have you got the blue chip profit figure from? Rgds dell | dell314
08/6/2004 15:29 | Last year it was in July. I have started accumalating. I think they are undervalued. I understand that bluchip made a profit of £750,00 for the year, giving bidtimes (5% stake) an extra £37000 profit. | hirschnathan
07/6/2004 20:44 | Hi, Bought some more today. Does anyone know when the FY results will be? Property price have risen further so we should see a increased NAV. Daal43 | daal43
03/6/2004 10:25 | more sellers than buyers | energyi
25/5/2004 09:04 | Why the 35% drop over the last few days! | teacup
19/5/2004 20:24 | I have been looking to dabble in these for some time,.I like shares which have 10,s of millions in issue rather than 100,s of millions.Obviously it only takes a comparatively small increase of profit to set the shares jumping. Any one got any pearl of wisdom to share, to make my mind up ?. | abubryn
18/4/2004 12:05 | Ticked up this week. The market cap of .59m means any buying will make this share rocket. The investments of bdt is far greater then its market cap. 4 investrments 1 the houses (current value about £1m) returning £80,000 a year rent, (mortgage about £45,000 a year) profit £35,000 2 blue chip casino (profits for the year £2million after all expenses £750,000, bdt 5% share = £35,000) which will be reinvested. 3 ino 4 sgy | hirschnathan
