money - "Codemasters are a gaming heavyweight, have added a game and extended their relationship with them. Sports Interactive (owned by Sega) have also extended their relationship with them."

It is common for micro-cap companies to have contracts and deals in place with global majors and not generate any revenue and profits. Something you clearly don't understand. Once again I repeat you can have an agreement with Apple to place your app in their Apple store but it is up to you to drive customers to your app not Apple. This is what is going on here and the reason why revenues from 01/01/2019 - 30/06/2019 were a derisory £26k.

Yeah but you and your mate TW were told what revenues would be at the interim and that they would put out a message that they would miss year end figures .Do you really think we are that stupid?.Nobody loses anything if they dont sell. The worm is turning and the gang will try to squirm back in on the positive side as they have been known to do with other stocks..How many multiple accounts have had to be used?.They are old school now but lenigas and the old guard still think it works for some reason. An Army of CEO's are used as puppets and paid to take flak for the puppet master.Has their been a rogue event going on? or simply a change of board required?.Soon find out

And Mart’s is a nice (but unstructured) summary of the podcast:

“Where JD failed most this year was to explain how / when revenue was coming in. Most of us assumed that test spend was H1 and real spend was coming in, in Q4 as we saw ads go live in games. It's now clear that the significant revenue was going to come from the trade deals that he spoke about on the podcast of 24 December. The key points I took from that were:When asked about the announced spend deal, JD makes it clear that the spend amount is only split between BIDS and the game, not the ad agency too. Good news. They believed they could hit the target revenue this year because 'Plan A' had spend committed up front from agency A and 'other bits and pieces' that made it recognisable under AIM rules this year. They couldn't get it over the line this year, announced it immediately when that became clear, but it's 'very much alive'. And seemed confident to me it would land still. It's therefore reasonable to assume this must be worth the best part of 6m revenue up front, or more, and its possible we could see this land January onwards.Plan B with agency B was accelerated as a result of plan A not landing. When asked about 'up to 10m'. Says something along lines of 'the way these type of agreements are structured it makes sense for both parties and their clients to hit the high numbers'. 'We know what brands are interested, what indicative amounts they would be prepare to invest'...'we're very excited about that'. Clearly implying he expects it to be towards the upper end. I believe spend starts 1 Jan. Talking to household names in terms of games. Sounds like will be news in q1 here. 'There is nothing that's come to a final stop, just pushed into 2020. Remarkably excited where company can get to.' 'Need to guide market better what success will look like and how get there.'When asked whether still believes future is as bright as previously thought ... 'its brighter than we thought at the start. There are so many routes we can go down' ... 'I get full visibility of everything going on ... appreciate must be frustrating for investors who don't ... but absolutely no change in ambitions of where company can get to ... word has spread particularly stateside and potential routes to victory are vast. Extremely bullish and needs to better update investors to retain confidence. 'The win is large', doing interesting patents at the moment linked to future of company, got bright people who've seen interesting nuances in this space. If people could see with his eyes the last few months they would be far more excited than on certain BBs!'Also slates 'certain commentators' (TW?) and says they 'talks a lot of nonsense' and may or may not be incentivised to try and get the share price lower ... 'all fun and games'.Finally when asked about 2020 revenues clarification RNS ... 'it's definitely fair to say outlook for 2020 very strong from commercial standpoint' ... 2020 not just 'in tact' but definitely fair to say looking strong from commercial standpoint, looking better than they would have thought in certain ways. Wants to update market on guidance of what to look for next year, trade agreement significant, first of many they will be doing with multiple agency groups they are talking to. Other commercial opportunities ahead too and routes becoming apparent as they get deeper in with demand and supply side.

Sorry about lack of formatting but hope summary useful for those who havnt listened yet. “

PWhite it can be both. I have had and may still have a short position here. I've also posted to warn people that this is a terrible investment where they will lose a lot of money especially from 30p+.

I have a lot of experience shorting bad AIM companies and thay all exhibit a lot of the same characteristics. I've made a lot of money doing it.

I'm very happy for someone who is knowledgeable to tell me why I'm wrong on BIDS but nobody has offered a shred of credible evidence. The so called well researched either

1. Parot what BIDS directors tell them normally through unregulated channels. Even when they've been caught lying already.
2. Watch YouTube vids of games with ads and infer great success. Also been shown to be extremely unreliable.
3. Make wild assumptions on the profitability of ads in games with absolutely no evidence eg cpm rates and gross margins.

Do I have an "agenda"? sure, everyone does, but my posts are fact based. Facts like JD selling after ramping when knowinghis revenues were almost zero.

Ignore the bears if you wish but you better have some good arguments as to why we are wrong because we seldom are.

----------

I understand and appreciate that in the cynical and 'me me' world we live in the view is held that nobody absolutely nobody can be posting out of concern for others. There has to be some ulterior motive behind it like - shorting, paid to deramp by TW and SharePrts, trying to get in cheap, a sad and lonely low life who has nothing better to do etc, etc.

Global Nomad - "and let's get a new balanced view from all of us to get 2020 off to a good start."

There is no balanced view to get. The second half of 2019 has proven their business model does not work or majors are simply not biting. 2020 will only confirm this. BIDS' immediate problem is cash. They need to get another placing away pretty damn quick.

Last couple of days if the year coming up. Let's see how 2019 ends and compare to where it started for bids. and let's get a new balanced view from all of us to get 2020 off to a good start.

Being open to various points of view, and in particular those with structured reasoning rather than absolutist beliefs will be a good premise for the new year.e

Just a quick post to say I am glad we have had a year of posts. 20000 odd to debate the pros and cons of bids, everything has been analysed and dissected in many ways and the position is recognised as having some concerns principally around communication but that the business has a very high potential in this new and innovative adtech sector. It is in essence a belief of fundamentals looking back or potential looking forward. Those invested here tend towards the latter and the naysayers tend towards the former. We all need to see both sides and take a position based on our own biases.

Girdz - "Where’s you other post gone saying you are a shorter??"

Generally speaking as an ordinary PI you cannot short AIM stocks only institutions can. PIs often confuse spread betting with shorting they are world's apart. To short somebody (normally a nominated broker) has to lend you shares. If you attempt to short this stock as a PI you are guaranteed almost 100% to lose your money. The market makers know who you are as this information is passed on by the nominated broker, how much money you have at risk and where your stop losses are. They can easily move the spread against you to ensure your stop loss is triggered then return the spread to normal.

Nominated brokers like, Halifax, TD Waterhouse, Barclays, Hargreaves and Selftrade all work in conjunction with market makers to fleece you when you short assuming you are ever allowed. They then split the profits.

Gone.
