And for good measure I commented that they were getting known internationally.

An overview...
this is interesting and more up beat than various sites I've seen.
Nasdaq for example.

Jaknife,
Maybe some confusion as my view is that 'becoming known in your field' and 'revenue' can be two completely different things.

What is known is that the Bids team are travelling the globe attending conferences, seminars, esports events (Miami last week and Cannes earlier this year at esports Bar for example) as well as branding and advertising events.....

This is how they are getting themselves known internationally.

Revenue generation will follow if:-
- They sign DSP's (this has commenced)
- They sign Publishers(FM and Codemasters are two great names)
- They sign partnerships (Unreal Engine for example)
- The tech works and works well

In summary, I cannot alleviate your concerns. That is for you to work through and decide on your strategy. Good luck, but my advice would be to be unemotional and if your concerns are strong then sell and move on.

Haha nice one Jaknife. .JD has delivered everything as promised so far. .Quite clear that BIDS practically turned off the system for H1, went through a development/testing phase, ready for q4..Keep deramping though. Let's see what q4 brings.

Hi money,
I was of the thought that the £317k was partly from FM. I was very surprised to see that FM got the first 6 months effectively free.
I agree that individual publishers and also individual advertisers takes time but they have those relationships in place.
I have no issue if the strategy changed and they have agreed the path forward - That is good leadership.....
I would have liked, though, an estimate for Q3 revenues from the board when they delivered the six monthly numbers. The quarter was over effectively and they know what they have/are invoicing.
It wasn't to be and maybe for a reason.

Agree Hazl,
Bids are becoming known internationally.

They have spent a fair amount of time effort and resource on getting their name out in the domain.....

One way is to follow Intel. Then you can check on followers you know, directly below 2047 followers. There maybe a better method, Hazl. I am also fairly new to it.

Yep, this was 11th Jan trading update:

“The Company continues to strengthen its sales team and has placed digital advertising for a number of global brands including 188 Bet, BooHoo Man, Audi, MG Motors and Volkswagen.”

I’m glad MG continues to visibly use the platform but I would have liked higher retention from others. Perhaps the issue was tracking - I mean, testing is a two way street right? So feedback from advertisers could have stated measurability issues.

gen, that makes sense....I then think they were testing things by providing free/ very low cost advertising time..

I think the difference is that before they were going for individual advertisers but it’s slow and not very scalable.

In my mind, they managed £300k revenue to appease the market in every way possible. They probably would have continued that...

But I recon Lewis came in and said, look guys, this is all well and good but it’ll be too slow to build up your book. He probably pushed the 90 day strategy to chase ad exchanges and advertising agencies at the expense of near term revenues and they have delivered it.

Resources went towards meeting ad agencies expectations I.e development of ad console, SDK tracking pixels and the acquisition of Pubguard as well as getting into top DSPs for the likes of Dentsu’s wall of cash which needs to be measured for their own clients.
