While in-game advertising isn’t anything new, Bidstack’s ‘within game’ format takes real world OOH ads and places them in real world spaces, such as football pitch-side hoardings, racing track banners, and open world billboards in video games. Publishers and gamers alike welcome this new format because it provides a new revenue stream to publishers and doesn’t interrupt the gaming experience. In fact, it can even help to enhance the realism of the game.

Game Ads are short interactions, with durations similar to Video Ads, that boast even higher engagement rates and deeper insights into user engagement. On WPP, they are the largest advertising agency in the world. Anzu are a tiny tech company. None of us know the details of their deal, but I would think that Anzu are well and truly tied to WPP and have lost their neutrality, but WPP are not well and truly tied to Anzu. They will be free to partner any company if it makes commercial sense for them to do so.

Fair point, but JD did say on the Aug 8 podcast, that he wanted to work with Dentsu, Publicis, Omnicom, WPP and brands direct. F1 would be great.Maybe both? Who knows?

Not sure any partnership with Mindshare makes sense with the WPP connection. However a Formula 1 Game tie up would be very nice indeed.

As they join forces... Bidstack, mindshare, formula 1 and Dentsu. Join forces just to talk? Or is it as they join forces on the union of gaming with advertisers.

Potential supply side partner (Formula 1 game), demand side and intermediary all in a discussion. Seems very convenient to me
