Tencent is worth keeping tabs on, they are connected via Codemasters. They have cloud gaming soon, it wouldn’t surprise me if Bids are somehow connected. Speculation of course.

The patient investor

New zoo article on spending was from me, if that the one you refer.

There’s many interesting articles such as this, Mountain View is part of PepsiCo.

Market is shifting, it will not take long for this to monetise, much faster then they did with social media as way of example as the digital age has already matured, folks now know how to monetise new media, it’s about getting publishers onboard and marketing departments from those big spenders changing habits. The team JD has established have the know-how, execution to be confirmed.

MG Motors are another who are specifically targeting new media across Europe, many others and surely once one starts others will follow. Every river started with a drop and all that.

Hi Girdz,

There are three core ways to trade Bids (like most stocks)

1- SEAQ has a two way quote and tonight it closed 30 - 31
That quote is backed by a number of market makers
An example may be:-
- Peel Hunt 30 - 32
- Wins 29 - 31
Hence the touch (best bid and offer) being 30 - 31
The market makers on the yellow strip (as SEAQ is known) are obliged to make there prices in an agreed size (say 10,000 shares)
If you call the market makers they can quote you a prize which has to meet the minimum size requirement but can be much larger.
An example could be:-
30 bid for 25,000 shares
31 offer in 100,000 shares

2- The RSP (Retail Service Provider)
This is normally the same market makers
They generally quote tighter prices and bigger size (not always but often enough)
An example:-
- Peel may be 30.15 bid for 50,000 and 30.875 offered in 40,000 shares
and hence you can trade inside the SEAQ touch

3- Dark pool trading
AIM stocks can trade in dark pools which are a mid priced execution venue
The price is derived from the local exchange and in Bids case SEAQ
So any 'crosses' dealt in the various dark pools would trade at 30.5p when the bid offer is 30 - 31

To answer, having level 2 is only a snippet of the size that may be available as Level 2 is a London Stock Exchange service that shows on SEAQ only (to my knowledge)

Hope that helps..... Phew

The BBs ( LSE and here) have gone mental today everyone digging each other out. .Let's chill and wait for results. . Good, bad, indifferent, doesn't matter as Q3 not finished yet and all systems go q4. .What every the price is tomorrow or next week, am sure it will be a lot higher come Xmas. GLA

Angel, you really should post it as opinion then, because that's what it is. You'd get very little come back from anyone if you didn't insist on calling things facts when it's obvious to everyone that's not the case. You just get stuck in an argument you can never win.

Angel, done. You will see by my account I am now following advfn support, I will also forward to FCA, it’s up to them to act. If they do take action it isndown to you to defend. Personally I hope they kick you off and log your IP address, market does not need the likes of you, nor do folks deserve the utter rubbish you write.

End of matter for me, good luck.

we might all be getting a little impatient but I don't think we should start getting riled with each other, if you don't like it just ignore it and let everyone make their own minds up.

chill.

we are all here relatively early and we will all do well out of it...
