Roley,
Are you able to explain how BIDS and Anzu are relevant for your company?
We all know what BIDS and Anzu do but how does that affect what you do as an Esports agency?
What opportunity does it create for you?

Thanks

Well given how easy it was to buy large amounts yesterday after that RNS it would appear the MMs have no problem with a supply of shares to sell.

Bizarre price movement.

Never known a share to have so much consistent good progress without the share price budging.

I suppose there are 3 possibilities, already discussed:

1) Market thinks all of this news is priced in

2) investors waiting for tangible results, visibility of revenues and profitability

3) There are orders to fill at lower levels and some price manipulation is going on

There is a very slim chance that H1 wont be met but is more likely to be exceeded. Current expectation is still around the 2.5m mark for H1. If its not met, it wont be by much so wont have any impact against the expectation for H2.
For H2 (& 2019 full year) to be missed, JD and his team would have to have been lying to us about contracts. Chance of that, 0%

Interesting point 6677+

I do think Bids will miss target - which was £1.75m or thereabouts - but not by much....

My view is that the market will be more interested in the CEO's statement and I expect that to be positive....

It's future targets that Matter. Try not to worry too much about stocks your not invested in.

What happens when the results are published and they have not met their revenue targets?

When you get interest in America things suddenly change.
It happened for EVRH hence the recent rise.

If you wait for certainty the shareprice would be out of your reach perhaps,or at least fully valued.

Bids is mirroring Opti in that Opti has signed multiple contracts and its bounced around for the last 18 months the markets want to see the greenbacks, I was a holder in Opti for 4 years and did well from my investment. Bids will really move when the financial results are in, I am a holder of Bids, just stating money talks.

It starts here: 'The civil service is independent of government and composed mainly of career bureaucrats hired on professional merit rather than appointed or elected, whose institutional tenure typically survives transitions of political leadership'.Information is then filtered down through the ranks and ends up with the scum of the earth on the BB's.All in the UK's best interests

I don't have a problem listening to someone with an opposite view. But I certainly do have a problem when they start talking the share down by turning up recently after having sat on JD'S head as a fly.

Fudge, in the next 4 weeks or so...they have a deadline.

More to the point is why there is concern about the results up to June...if they are poor will the price tank? Is that a bail out moment or a top up moment? Is forward looking information more important currently that confirmation of the past?

If results are as expected or better will the price rise or be indifferent. Will people wish they had bought shares more earlier?

good information yesterday, thanks all. Good to get abetter understanding of the players in the sector, which was always likely to get competitive, so we rely on JD making this the biggest and best ( or at least big)

BIDS is listed and at a valuation that allows us punters an entry into the sector, so I am grateful for that. So far nothing negative ( or even moderating) has come out and the only worry amongst some is the revenue of the first half, which to me is largely irrelevant.

I hope you all have a good friday and a good weekend and the future fruits of our investment here bring you happiness....

eek...that sounds way too cheesy...need more espresso

liz,

it won't happen over night so you can relax. if it lists on the ftse it will make no difference to how you hold/trade your shares. IF it dual lists (i.e here and US) then it won't make any difference either. If it goes solely to a US listing you will need to complete a simple form with your broker to allow you to trade in international markets.

FWIW I don't think any of this is likely to happen soon.

Final comment. Whether you get anything from my posts is rather irrelevant to me. Some on here are happy to see them and some just like to challenge nicely or otherwise.

FWIW I appreciate your posts Roley. It is good to be reminded that it is not a one-way street here and that we are at the beginning of the journey. Sure we all want BIDS to be a 100-bagger+ but it isn't going to definitly happen and will require work. So far the team look to be doing a fine job. Let's hope the momentum continues and we start hearing some income figures to really excite the market.

My final thought is that we have all heard that competition makes companies stronger and more innovative. No problems having Anzu around, it may actually work in BIDS favour ;-)
