I’ve read most of your posts, yet to see any evidence in what you are suggesting apart from your written notes nobody can see, nor are they publicly available, unless I’m missing something?

Further you have never mentioned your experience in this field until just recently, bit odd isn’t it? What you trying to hide, why reveal yourself now?

I also find your RSP comments odd, are you new to investing or are you trying to deliberately mislead folks?

Call me an untrusting PI, been around a while and just get vibes about certain folk when there’s money to be made keeping a stock in a range. Nothing personal, maybe you should have come clean from outset.

There is nothing new here with regards Anzu. They are credible competition. I am reminded of recent podcasts where JD has said that he is more comfortable than ever regarding the competition; and most recently pointed to Anzu's loss of neutrality.

Very true that is the 4th DSP. Our prime AAA rated games inventory will be filling up very fast in Q4

There is plenty of room for two or more significant players in this market....

Anzu and Bids can both be multi billion dollar businesses.

As Aidanandabangingon will know (the crafty broker that he is) there has been room for many investment banks to survive for decades and decades......

Which naturally has led me to check out their DSP capabilities.

“As Anzu CEO Itamar Benedy explained, Anzu’s SSP can integrate with any existing DSP’s to make media buying in-game as easy as buying a banner ad on the web. Turner, which was acquired by AT&T for $85 billion last year, will act as one of the first major media buying companies piloting the program, and will use its ELeague Esports offering to promote Anzu’s in-game inventory to other Esports-friendly advertisers. According to Benedy, media buyers can buy through their preferred DSP, or via AppNexus’ platform, which was also brought under the telco giant’s wing in 2018.”

Slight downer on the day, sorry guys. I try and remain impartial as an investor and thanks to Roley for his insight.

At least we are all aware of credible competition. It doesn’t turn me off but it certainly focuses the mind on the importance of land grabbing inventory. If I was Anzu I’d be ramping up my sales efforts given the competition was closing in on my comfortable lead. The trailblazers are usually the ones caught out.

This is a huge market and even if they both smashed it, there would be lots more pie for others.

“As veterans in the AdTech and gaming worlds, we did our best to make the platform easy to use. Developers can integrate our SDK in a matter of minutes with a drag-&-drop integration available for both Unity and Unreal engines.”

Credit where credit is due. Unity and unreal. 9 months ago. But I would argue that BIDS is the more likely candidate with the AAA games given their track record in GRID and FM - but time is natrually of the essence. .

SDK in action -

Please re-read my post. I thought it was clear? The meeting note suggests this is there assertion.

I do not work for them so please ask Anzu for game names.

I never put JD down. I know him and my team met him and his team again in Cologne. Great team and a great opportunity.

I am heavily involved in eSports and JD may well know who I am simply by this post.

Final comment. Whether you get anything from my posts is rather irrelevant to me. Some on here are happy to see them and some just like to challenge nicely or otherwise.

The SDK is a done deal, in effect. It will happen in September if it’s not happened already. It’s covered by current contracts so isn’t a new contract increasing potential revenue by more than 10% so they don’t need to RNS it.
JD is more likely to leave this and keep RNS’s to the contracts they have to release.

I think the tech works already as demonstrated. The SDK allows developers to embed the tech themselves so creates more freedom and opportunity I guess?

I’m sure it’ll get a fanfare though

Are you stating they have 100 active games? Or are you stating what is speculation on their part as fact, putting this another way show me the games they have signed and working.

Whilst we are on the subject, you are quick to put down the prospects of bids, yet clearly fail to mention the done deals James has mentioned as done deals but cannot yet be released to market. I firmly believe they have many game developers signed, big ones at that, however it will need both sides to confirm they are ready to announce to market to confirm a deal, that is what is being said. Seems perfectly normal to me on many fronts.

If we can stick to facts, backed up with confirmation either via written or oral
Proof that would be greatly appreciated, not doubting what you have been told, I am doubting the truth and scale of what is said.

Large players signed they would be singing from the roof tops, likewise the press that backs them, let’s see what unfolds, I suspect JD is actually ahead of the game, we await confirmation over the next short few months.

I'm liking that post 7939 1cuthbert!

Aside from that I'm amazed at the amount of advice that some people feel that JD and management need.

I think they are doing really well without any help really.

I’m still buzzing that Bidstack are part of Unreal Engine. Just to remind people, this is a hugely popular game-building tool. And - forgive me if anyone has already pointed this out - never mind the existing inventory, some of the next generation of big games (think the next Fortnite or GTA) will undoubtedly be built using Unreal Engine - and likely have Bidstack’s ads in place from the very start!
