11/3/2024 07:37 | Sad day , my sympathy isn't really with the staff to be honest , I'm sure some worked very hard but, alot of them were picking up big paychecks for very little imho especially Mr Draper. Feel extremely sorry for the shareholders who were still invested. Its a big blow when finally the shutters are pulled down, but at least now can draw aline under this and not waste anymore energy and move on. Not sure how Girdz will fill his days now this discussion board will be dead! Seagull | seagull222

09/3/2024 08:49 | This is interesting. A footnote to an old article. 'Update 2/29/24: G/O Media’s position on potential acquisitions of its flagship brands has been clarified. A previous version of this story said CEO Jim Spanfeller confirmed the company is in acquisition talks with buyers interested in Gizmodo and The Onion. Spanfeller did not specify that the conversations G/O has had with potential buyers included acquisitions of those two properties.' | hazl
09/3/2024 08:40 | Gidz I understand the business of doubting things on the web, it is a full of deceit at times. I get this all the time on other threads, accusing completely different people. I will say what I have said before, I have only one poster name, never felt the need for more of them, in fact I think it displays a weakness that you feel you are not enough on your own account. Please accept that we know this is risky and post as much as you like but don't make untrue accusations that is as bad as the things you complain of . | hazl
