The ONLY people who are in trouble here are those who had a short position ahead of the absolutely sparkling RNS that landed by surprise pre Christmas. Who needs Santa Claus :-)

I think anyone who bought at 0.6p will be rewarded - they just need to be patient

I expect this stock to get a lot of interest in the new year as we embark on a bullish 2024. It will represent a real 'comeback' for some of the battered small stocks on AIM and FTSE.

Contrary to the posts below - £3m will actually go a long way but more importantly the hurdles and distration have gone and paved the way for a mutually beneficial partnership going forwards to build on the £3m.

The business has survived a tricky few years - but has emerged intact with the best yet to come

I agree. Unfortunately exciting times for the company are not necessarily exciting times for the share price. BIDS are on their Xmas/New Year break like everybody else. Come January 2024 the news you want to read is that they have cancelled the Irdeto CLN.

If that's not happening then 2024 will take up where 2023 left off as far as the destruction of shareholder value is concerned.

Bidstack shud be set for a very exciting 2024, Azerion wouldn't be settling for £3million which will be paid upfront and then wanting to work collaboratively and sign new agreement if they didn't believe Bids had an exciting future ahead, Bids have many Irons in the fire so, let's see what happens! After the close of business on 30 December 2022, Bidstack received notice from Azerion purporting to exercise an alleged right to terminate the agreement. Bidstack has taken appropriate external legal advice and has concluded that Azerion has no present entitlement to end the agreement. Bidstack now intends to claim damages for unlawful termination.

Bidstack has improving visibility of FY23 revenue and the Board is pleased with the Company's significant commercial progress independent of the Azerion relationship.

In addition to the robust pipeline from the Company's recently formed North American sales team, Bidstack has now brought on board a number of additional resellers in non-core and non-exclusive markets to ensure global coverage including MMP Worldwide (MENA), AdScholars (India) and Totally Awesome (APAC) and has established a regional presence in Japan to service media and licensing opportunities.

The live issue here is that the shareholders need to read the Irdeto CLN for £2.4 million has been ditched. If it hasn't then the share price will visit 0.27p or lower.

This is why prior to the Azerion settlement BIDS needed to reorganise the share capital base.

The statement about a settlement also came from Azerion.

RNS 22/12/23 - Sebastiaan Moesman, CRO & CSO, Azerion said

"We are pleased to announce both the settlement of all past disagreements and a new commercial alliance between our companies going forward. After resolving our previous differences, what remains is two companies in the same industry with a complementary offering. We are therefore looking forward to re-establishing our relationship in 2024 and integrating Bidstack's technology and in-game advertising opportunities into our offering towards our advertisers again."

So I think the £3m is the truth but whether it comes as a lump sum cash settlement or tied in with future commercial agreements is unknown.
