the other 50% went to a lot of retail brokers on behalf of their clients.
I was offered shares at market (5.75p) 5p, 4.5p and 4p as it was effectively a tender offer.
IT WAS ONLY OVERSUBSCRIBED at 4p
undersubscribed at 4.5p which tells you a lot given the 5.75p closing price prior.
I took shares as did many people I know as 4p was deemed low.
One of my brokers took many millions of shares at 4p so IT WAS NOT held by Stifel.

So an increase in issued stock of 58% with approx 8% accounted for.Where has the other 50% gone?.All flipped at 4p and the share price still managed to hit 8p(100% from placing).Stifel are in charge of the 50% but who for is what we want to know.#nohurry

No Broker can spread stock across clients accounts unless authorised by their clients and thus it is no longer their stock in any capacity whatsoever.
Stop with the pathetic conspiracy theories.

The broker spreads the stock across client accounts.So yes I agree they will not be holding the stock directly but will be in full control

Agency Brokers - should not hold any positions

Trading Book Brokers (principal) - This is a partial exemption for investment firms/credit institutions holding securities as part of their proprietary business where holdings not exceeding 5% don’t need to be disclosed. 5% and above MUST be reported

Market Makers - A market maker holding less than 10% in that capacity is exempt provided that it does not intervene in the management of the company or exert influence over the company. At 10%, the entire holding is disclosable

Short Selling - Restriction: There is a ban on naked short selling of shares. Covered short selling is permitted in prescribed ways

Short Selling disclosure - net short position of 0.2% or more of issued share capital of an issuer must be reported privately to the FCA - Upon reaching 0.50% this must also be reported to the market

Stifel the Broker and Stifel the Market Maker cannot be holding the type of positions you have accused them of for months.

Herald have to declare buying and selling as they are above 3%.Stifel dont have to say anything.So it ain't Herald that is selling imo unless a TR-1 confirms it

Well I agree with you on that, but as a long term investment I wont be looking at the day to day prices.Let's see where syme goes, Walletinvestor.com say its an awesome long term investment.

I have a small position in syme, but do be careful. Already valued at £230m and that's a lot of downside. I take comfort from the ownership by directors and very close institutions.
And yes, news is expected in the coming days or weeks. Will certainly be in for a ride, but again bear in mind TW is gunning for it and I hate to say it he often gets it right.

I agree Count.
I understand Bids cannot announce contracts that do not exist, and unfortunately it would seem clear that there is no contracts yet with the likes of EA, Ubi and Mini-Clip.
All publishers raised in a recent RNS in a roundabout way so surely there is something the board can say?
How about a Q3 update to shareholders?
Simply update the market in an RNS as follows:-
a) Revenue in Q3 is expected to be up on Q2 by xxx%
b) Monthly revenue continues to grow with August being a record month by xxx%
c) We delivered campaigns into xx different game titles across July and August up from xx in Q2
d) Forward booking of campaigns for September and Q4 give the board complete confidence that our 2nd half target can be beaten.

The real issue, and it becomes a real possibility as time moves on, is that the above cannot be stated.

Agreed, its getting silly now.JD can't even do an interview to settle investors, we don't mind the wait if we know something is coming but nothing.Absolute disgrace imo.I think JD needs to go, iv had enough now.Gla.
