Absolute rubbish - you are manipulative and dishonest - you have been posting articles that are years old deliberately trying to mislead people. You know your tax figures are wrong - have you sent them to BZT yet? If not why?

You deal in inneundo and half truths. Is money worth so much to you that you have no morales or principles. I pity you - just sad.

KING, Philippines law does not allow for CAPEX, IPC, or previous yearly losses to be credited against future profits, this is why i have not deducted the $5m purchase cost or allowed any amount for operational expenses.

BZT will not pay tax twice per say, asean copper ( bzt owned) will pay tax in the Philippines @35% and then BZT will pay it in the UK @23%. they are two different companies but obviously have the same financial interest.

this is all of course based on the idea that it will actually happen which is highly unlikely imo. BHP, RIO are all pulling out of projects left right and centre. when the option was signed the world was a very different place. we are now in a bear market for commodities.

i am not telling anyone to sell, buy, hold or whatever. i have my view and my short interest and am simply sharing that. i wish anyone who is long the best of luck, i think you will really need it.

Forgot to add. I'm not sure you should be assuming both Phillipines tax AND UK Corporation tax - what about double taxation relief?

I'm no tax expert, but I'm fairly sure BZT won't be paying both overseas and UK tax on profits (see below)

Tbg123,

Not convinced by your numbers, for the following reasons:

1) Corporation tax in the Phillippines is 30% according to

2) Corporation tax would be applicable to 'gross profits' of BZT for the year, not simply the total cash consideration of the sale of Mankayan.

3) You'd have to take into account both the purchase price, and sale price to work out the profit, for which tax would be attributable. Futhermore, some expenditure on enhancing the value of the asset (i.e the drilling, appraisal, scoping study?) costs should be deductable from the sale price in this calculation.

4) There should be some prior year losses, which can be net against current financial year profits to reduce tax payable?

I think there will therefore be more than zero cash left from sale proceeds after any dividend is paid, and I believe the upside to be c60p a share.

utter rubbish and you know it - if you truly are an accountant then you know very well that your figures are simplistic and misleading - and if that is reflective of your work then you may have more time to post rubbish here.

I have had communication with Bernard Oliver and whilst he asked me to keep the content private they stated it would take some thing dramatic for Gold Fields to walk away from Lepanto and that they are in correspondence with GF on a regular basis.

Also stated that the 10 exploration licences applied for in April should take 120 days and that they had a good working relationship with local Jujuy officials.

Who would I rather take advice from? An idiot or the CEO of the company?

Place your bets......At mkt cap of 14m with last reported 6m in hand the option and Eureka I look forward to xmas more than usual!! Would you hand on heart sign off on a Balance Sheet and P&L accounts based on your figures without any mention of previous years losses etc. What accreditation do you hold?

i am an accountant, thats how i invest. i short/buy overvalued or undervalued companies. bzt to my mind is hugely overvalued and has alot of downside if, as i believe, the option agreement is not taken up. i have cash value without the option at around 8p a share. to me that is the downside.

LOL british bulls were saying buy all the banks the day before they crashed, know one uses there website, there wrong all the time, infact if they have bzt as a sell-if, that is a great buy indication in my eyes, just accept your loss on your short and move on, your making a fool of yourself.

tbg you really are the biggest ar*e.

Are you an accountant? No. Do you really think your figures are correct - why not drop Bernard Oliver an e mail. Or would you rather base your calculations on ignorance?? Go on ask BZT directly.

gaint steps you dont honestly think that in this environment goldfields will exercises the option do you?!! you must be mad. goldfields had mankayan on their website after the option was signed but now it seems they have taken it off. goldfields cant get their ffaa for the far south east project so i cant see them even considering the BZT option. even if they do the upside to today is so limited.

-------------------------------------------------------------

so BZT have said they may give a special dividend of 50% of the £42 m ( $63m/1.5-50%) = £21m = 30p, the other $6m ( £4m) will be used to fund further developments at eureka and general running costs.

so 30p special dividend.

Corp tax Philippines at 35%- ( 35% of $70m = $45= £30 m

Corp tax UK at 23% - ( 23% - £30m = £23m

so after tax BZT get £23m - SD of (50% of $70m/1.5=£23)

net cash after tax and special dividend = £0

from last years years accounts the company had around £3m cash or aprox 5-10p a share.

30p dividend- 10p cash brings me to the sum of 40p tiger.

i dont ascribe any value to eureka as i think they may have to walk away from that project given the political situation in Argentina.
