18/7/2007 12:01 | Yea, I know; but my experience that these sorts of companies mostly have a v high discount to NAV. Meanwhile, back at BET ..... | mart
18/7/2007 11:35 | Mart, things are about to change at TIR TIR have sold 5 mil shares in AST since 2006 report (29m down to 24m at present). Current holdings are valued as follows. AST 24M @ .25 = £ 6M, Franconia = £ 1.1M, Nautical = £ .7M, Other bits & pieces = £ 1.2M, giving a total of £ 9M for the investments. Then there is cash at bank of approx £ 4M, giving an all up value around £ 13M. Shares issued less the buybacks is now 175 million shares giving a net asset value about 7.4p. Therefore, at current share price of 4.1p TIR appears undervalued and should have little downside risk. However do your own research | cyclingnut
18/7/2007 10:27 | MART, What price are you in TIR at? | cyclingnut
18/7/2007 10:16 | Yes, into TIR and can't wait to exit 'cos it has been extremely lack lustre over the longterm. Back to BET: my trades not showing. Last time I gave this serious consideration it was nearer 7-8p. | mart

18/7/2007 10:02 | rabbit, you reckon we are due a RUN...lol!! | cyclingnut
18/7/2007 09:58 | I did a little reading last night re:BET and it certainly seems undervalued at these levels. Also based upon the historic charts, it does seem to 'shoot to 7 or 8p' from these levels. Someone said news is due Sept 7thish, we may well see some t traders join the fun. On another note an MBO at 10p would please all share holders | cyclingnut
18/7/2007 09:51 | With all this activity things may get moving here at last. | run rabbit

18/7/2007 09:44 | Well, decided to take a punt on this - scientific eh - but buys not showing yet. | mart
18/7/2007 09:33 | I wouldn't actually say anyone was ramping this just singing the virtues of an undervalued company with massive potential. | tornadodown |
