I like that idea.Yes I think we can all see value here and when others do then it will start to move.Until that time I am happy to buy when funds become available.

Interesting chart RR is that what you think will happen then?I look somewhat more to the fundamentals of the company and seeing as they are profitable at EBITDA levels on a good turnover hope that they may actually reach full profitability which would subsequently move their market capitalisation to a much more realistic level. In real terms that could equate to around 30p per share.

looks like a spike to 10p possible on T/S

Sorry to say I can't provide any specific insight. My preference is for mining/oil specs but I've been moving out of them temporarily recently.I do a fair bit of trawling and was impressed by the chairman's report of 1 February. What finally did it for me,though, was the five year graph - surely a joy to behold (unless you bought at the top of course).

I might have another small dabble, but it'd be blind faith as I'm uncomfortable buying too much into a sector where I have little knowledge or feel for.

So what is someone from merills nosing in for I wonder.Do we know if they are holding at present?Nice to see a newcomer and welcome Corrientes. So it was you that pushed the price higher today.Any particular reason you have bought in or any research to share will be appreciated.

Slowly and surely RR don't want the masses just yet.Just took a look at the stats and see that we have had a visitor looking in from Merill lynch in the US which is a very interesting development.

It is starting to look better TD now that the limits have changed. Was a little concerned that there may be alot of free stock available but that seems to have diminished with the buying the last few days.

Interesting to see that 50K buy at mid has now pushed the prices up with online brokers presently quoting 5.56/5.94 on only 75K

RR having done similar research I too was attracted by the charts. They certainly look like they are due to move higher soon.I am suprised that others have not noticed this as yet but if you are prepared to wait a little then I am quite sure you would be rewarded.

Well I decided to take a peek at the charts tonight as this has started to interest me.When one says a stock is oversold it can mean many things but looking at the chart here it can be shown that it is extremly oversold

free stock charts from www.advfn.com

As a potential buyer I appreciate the information which TD is adding to the thread here and notice that there are a lack of sellers at this level.I am also suprised that this has not attracted the same amount of interest as other internet gaming stocks have.

It will be very interesting to see what a little positive news would do for this stock and expect this to trade much higher in the coming months.

Thought I would just pop in to see what was happening as so very quiet across the market today.Even the roads coming into work were not busy.TD keep up that trade data as it will be interesting to follow.

Nice thread TD.This looks quite interesting and pleased to see that the US gaming act did not have any influence on them.Good growth figures as well. Can theyturn profitable in the true sense?

There has been mention for some time that BET could be a potential takeover target especially at these levels. To me it is certainly one that I have added a few shares of and I would suggest others peruse the above news and at least add to your monitors.

How long can the company hold out ? Is this the reason for the recent and prolonged buying by Banks and Gardener, and why Burnbrae are happy to keep pumping cash into Betinternet ?

"He says Asia represents a "huge" opportunity once the penetration of broadband and internet access increases. Vietnam for instance has a population the size of Germany (albeit less affluent) and then there are other territories such as Indonesia, China and Hong Kong where much opportunity lies."...

"Both Party Gaming and Sportingbet remain serious online players even now with their smaller ex-US business models and their shares have moved up from 12-month lows, in spite of continued selling pressure on their stock. Bartlett suggests this is partly down to their founders and senior management's still holding sizeable stakes and that this overhang continues to act as a dampener on their progress.

Their weakened balance sheets are also likely to have put paid on their earlier aspirations of acting as consolidators in the gaming market. This is now being left to stronger established operators such as Ladbrokes and William Hill, plus potentially big US gaming groups like MGM and Harrah's.
These players now consider 'purified' online operators, including 888, Sportech and Betinternet, as targets now they are rid of US revenues and run 'clean' businesses. Early evidence of this development is the ongoing talks between 888 and Ladbrokes about a sale of 888's assets."
