30/1/2008 14:52 | Zooming away nicely....... :) | ![]() papalpower
30/1/2008 13:53 | Looking very strong today, new note out 29th? Anyone got it? Strength IMO should push this towards magical £1....!! | ![]() qs9
30/1/2008 12:18 | A few people beginning to notice BEST. Recent results were excellent. The rating is still very low, so I have high hopes of good gains in the share price over the next year. | ![]() jimbox1
20/1/2008 16:15 | Yes, have bought a few. Net cash is impressive (£1.75m?), small market cap, signing up international contracts and may make near to £1m OP if double interims. | ![]() qs9
16/1/2008 11:30 | Nicely up as well. | ![]() papalpower
15/1/2008 07:26 | Nice enough set of interims. | ![]() papalpower
18/12/2007 11:18 | £7.5k just gone through - anyone want to own up! | touch2002
22/11/2007 23:30 | In a economic downturn, people will not be squandering money on these nasty competitions, this is destined for failure. | ![]() moob
21/11/2007 10:31 | I agree nickcduk, it was a decent trading statement. It has just come out on a day when no one wants to know. | ![]() jimbox1
21/11/2007 09:16 | I guess its just a sign of how horrible conditions are in the market at present when BEST can an issue a decent trading statement and for the shares to be whacked 10%. Only taken 5000 shares sold to do the damage as well. Now trading on about 8 times earnings. The NAV will be about 35p by year end as well. Cash generative nature of the business means a lot of that will be cash. It look as though their isn't any buying interest at all from private investors at present. Another share I hold is ITK which put out results ahead of forecasts and which led to broker upgrades of about 10%. Result is shares have fallen 11% and now trade on 8.3 times earnings. Market sentiment is about as bearish as I can remember at the moment. It may take a while yet for that to change. | ![]() nickcduk
20/6/2007 20:48 | what management need to do is contact space and people and put a few cars in all these shopping centres around the country i reckon they would clean up | ![]() ntv
20/6/2007 14:17 | Just had a potter around the website and they have launched their instant win product. You get 3 goes for a fiver. First competition has already closed. It will be interesting to see if another one goes up soon. If it does I think it would be fair to assume that it was a success. | ![]() nickcduk
25/5/2007 15:08 | Interesting, I was thinking of moving to Selftrade. May I ask why you are looking to move out? | ![]() relishing
25/5/2007 15:06 | Im looking at moving brokers and need some input as to who you think the best are for trading UK & foreign stocks. Also, if anyone knows of any who are currently doing free trades when you open an account, please post here. Thanks! BTW I'm currently with Barclays & Selftrade. | tonyx
17/5/2007 12:28 | chaz satnley seems to like this oen can u really make money from this high class raffle | ![]() maiseymouse
17/5/2007 12:08 | Best of the Best Posted on May 17th, 2007 in Market whispers. Charles Stanley says buy after the trading update. Broker says: 'The new stand at Gatwick South has resulted in a material increase in sales while we understand that the group has a number of new regional airport locations in the pipeline.' | ![]() papalpower
17/5/2007 07:52 | It would have been nice to exceed market forecasts but I agree it was bullish enough about strong trading. The beauty of the business is that once its fully up and running it will have excellent cashflow. Wouldn't be suprised if most of that finds its way back to shareholders. | ![]() nickcduk
17/5/2007 07:47 | With a strong H2 then the operational gearing you highlight nick will be kicking in, and that would explain the recent surge of director buying. | ![]() papalpower
15/5/2007 09:19 | Interesting nick, will look in more detail. | ![]() papalpower
15/5/2007 09:13 | I can't see it being anything other than excellent. The persistant director buying and general price action despite more selling than buying suggests we get a materially ahead of forecasts trading statement. 2008 forecasts of 5.9p of earnings will also get a large upgrade imho. The operational gearing of the business lends itself to blow away those forecasts as well. Its all coming together very nicely. As an aside PP, have you had a look at ACR results this morning. Big turnaround story in prospect now they have cut costs and stabilised the business. Could be a multibagger from current levels. | ![]() nickcduk
15/5/2007 09:02 | Well, has to be next week or the week after then, if not this week. Here's hoping its good :) | ![]() papalpower
13/5/2007 13:52 | Ive just had a reply back from WM. He says a trading statement will be issued before the end of the month and that results should be out in early July. A firm date will be set out in the trading statement. I agree that recent director buying and also the revamped pricing should make for a positive trading statement. | ![]() nickcduk |
