Alfa Laval also hit.

i hear that ABB however has come to some sort of agreement with the asbestos plaintifs(Source Bloomberg). So if this has substance, ABB should rise in Europe on Monday,that is if the £1 billion payoff is acceptable to the Market.ADR`s in US done 7% at the time of writing.
We shall see.

Daimler Chrysler AG and RHI Ag have been mentioned as have insurers Allianz and Munich Re:

I am not happy with this particular concern.

Saint Gobain rose substantially today. Not as much as Alcatels 40% though.

Being an investor particularly interested in european shares,i was concerned to see
the impact the asbestos problem on the share price of ABB.

I see now that Saint Gobain has also had its share marked to a 7 year low due to its exposure to asbestos type concerns

Are there other companys that might suddenly be impacted?


This could be a major problem
