Have to say that I though A Treuger owned more than 30% - Gyllenhammer owns 3.15m and Aviation (Adam Pelled + Co) own 3.18m.

So thats 11.1m (17%) + whatever Treuge owns (and the rest of the board)

thanks. Dont have the AR handy but there is one guy (the founder?) who owns around 30,% so he basically controls things just now. He may have some competition in the future though if the value hunters keep mopping up shares.

Agreed - holding was 2.332 reported on 15/10/03.

Does anyone have a list of major shareholders - seems to me that pretty soon there will be minimal amounts in the hands of small shareholders....

Can someone tell me whether this lot have bought or sold (I have an AR but not where I am at the moment). As an aside why cant the compnay themselves let us know this information?

They (Management) sold PKTR at LOWS !! Today's trading largely irrelevant, though poss Apelled reducing exposure.
What do BEK now offer ?

Interesting. Yet again the Management demonstrate their ability to sell at "lows" ! My goodness, do they need some sort of consultancy themselves !! Without sounding silly, Adam Pelled could certainly help develop this weakness.
As the liklihood is that Adam sold a portion of his holdings on "good news", this is saddly even less likely !!
$ headed to hell and BEK share price with it, no doubt !!

Results out - Having sold PKTR most of the risk in value has been removed - shareholder value approx 20p per share and most of that is cash or cash equivalent (albeit some tied up in LPAL which ceased writing policies in July 02 - The majority of policies will be paid in the next 18-24 months.

I note that the trades today were for 600k x 2, 900k x2 and 1.8m - From memory 600k and 900k were the size of stakes held by Apelled and relation in various accounts.....

3Q results out. PKTR stake sold. I make it:

M/cap = 6.5M
NTAV = 13M
Cash = 10M
Net cash 11.5M

Remember that this share was once just 1.75p as London Pacific Group. Nearly every share re-visits their lowest again and I am sure this one will too. GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!!!

Because the share is trading well below NAV. There is potential value here, especially if you can build enough of a stake to have some sway with the management.

that said, the share price hasnt budged over recent months.
any thoughts on why not?
as always, i suspect that theres more to this co than meets the eye.
what a puzzler.
in fact i expect i will still be puzzling over it when it finally goes bust...
