Not all the samples were covered with a lead sheet only the ones from Zona 7.

"The geological samples are so good they have to be covered by a lead sheet in the core store!"

fatboy...if you go on to the BKY website take a look at the Salamanca Project under "Photographs". There are photos of some guys staring over some core samples apparently without any care of being irradiated...

fatboy, who did you arrange it with?- as there are definitely mixed messages coming out from the Company here. That's just not good enough imo

I had also been told that there will be no site visits until the Autumn.

The investor I referred to above had told the MPL bulletin board that he would definately do so and because of that you surely can understand the scepticism generated on his return when all he had to say was that work was progressing according to plan. Infact nothing had been done at all. I do not expect anyone to be beholden to posters on a bulletin board but any concrete information, photos or no photos, does help the credibility of both the information and the poster.

I spent years living in the States - never took a single photo.

herlat....it is the MPL bulletin board on ADVFN (formerly SPL)...they are an Indian company who have been trying to build a port for some years and have only built part of it even now. Various updates have been nothing much short of lies and have fleeced shareholders in the process. The updates of the ports progress were misleading and overstated. One investor actually went there to take photos and although he did get there no photos were seen because the work had not even started. So you can perhaps understand why PJ and myself have become sceptical particularly when someone goes all that way and does not even take even one photo. Hence the reason for the response to fatboy. Regards.

I suppose I was a little short of detail. Site preparation works are well under way and we were told that the crusher has been maufactured and is in Madrid being finalized ready for transportation to site. I only post on here because this is the only share I own the remainder of my money is in funds.

Fatboy

I realise you have no reason to do so but please can you be more substantive regarding your visit. I am sure you can understand we do get many instances of unsubstantiated ramping on these boards but we would truly be grateful if you could provide more clarity.

PJ...snap..yes I certainly felt a deja vu moment myself. I note that he has only posted on this board and although I have no reason to doubt him...I do....unless proven otherwise. The quality of his ineloquent posts does not help. Regards.

although to be fair there was also a poster clearly stating things were not as the Company claimed in India, he was correct but also didn't supply any photos.

Sory I didn't take any

Apologies in advance as I don't know you or recognise your screen name. But I find it hard to believe anyone would spend cash and time, travel quite a distance, and not take any photos. Worryingly it reminds me almost exactly of similar claims in a certain Indian Port a couple of years ago...well doculmented on the BB....Coincidence.....does lightening strike twice.

marvelman.... any thoughts?

I really don't understand the downward drift in the face of the recent RNSs dealing with the current exploration programme and the appointment of two heavy weight non executive directors.

In my view the latter is particularly important as the new appointees would have had access to all available information ( warts and all ) before committing themselves to joining the board.

Myself and a colleague visited the mine last week and were very impressed with what I saw and heard. We paid our own way and it was well worth the visit. The geological samples are so good they have to be covered by a lead sheet in the core store!

The staff on site are all Spanish and come across as technically very competent and there is lots going on.

When I next get hold of some cash I'm gonna top up as I have unused ISA allowance.

All IMHO and DYOR.

I agree with bookwormrobert's view. You need to be at the right place and at the right time. Existing producers are making little or no money so they will not invest or even cut back on production. This will eventually push up the selling price, as demand exceeds supply, when BKY's begins to produce reaping reward.
