I won't allow myself to delve down to your depths, needless to say, I have never had a post removed.

I am professional and polite on these boards and will remain so. My posting and way I go about myself is there for all to see.

Please put me back on filter (if you ever did in the first place)

Your obvious agenda here is to get a better price entry which clearly hasn't happened

'Poster 163 is highly unreliable.'

Ha! .. What a cheek

I post facts with links unlike that twerp who has to put ...

"All IMO" and "DYOR"

... after every post to cover his/her backside as it's normally made up and hearsay! Haha

This QP lady/man has made a fool out of her/his self so much on here.

Herlat1... You are correct .. in the video, Paul says March/April for the funding and therefore QP is just stirring

Herlat1 do you know:-

1. When bulldozers/Cerezo start their work on the road upgrade?
2. When Iberdrola start work on the electricity supply?
3. This is what you wrote in post 420 on 15th February. Tho two month time-frame is up in less than two weeks. Do you think the CEO will pull the funding off within that time-line as you wrote? Or do you think the CEO will miss that time-line?

QUOTE
QP the CEO said the company was raising US$100 million in two tranches from 8 potential financiers, was looking to avoid dilution and in 1-2 months?

Sounds pretty specific to me.

Which bit was 'wishy washy' to you?

Just watched the presentation from Paul mid Feb.. a MUST watch for any potential new investors:

Highlights are:

The Salamanca project is the highest grade open pit in the world

Targeting 4000lbs Uranium pa which will position BKY as number 7/8 in the world in terms of production

Project requires $81m but they are securing $100m and will announce this in April 2016 (this month)

8 financiers in the data room (as at mid Feb for 4/5 weeks)

Paul has a strong Chinese link having lived in Beijing recently for 3 years

Chinese are building multiple nuclear reactors and are short of Uranium resource

Chinese currently looking at new Uranium projects that require low CAPEX and low OPEX in a developed world economy

They are only looking at projects below $30 OPEX (BKY is $15)

BKY is the only new Uranium project kicking off this year

Examples of market value of peers incl ones with $1bn valuations

All this based on just current confirmed resource .. They think they have multiple Zona 7 deposits and are currently drilling

If they find more ... The metrics above are blown out of the water (my words)

Very strong Institutional share register .. Black rock are currently in the open market buying

History goes back a little further than last month. That's one of the reasons it's called 'history' and not 'a few weeks ago'. Here's a snippet of history from 2012:

hxxp://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/13/business/global/in-struggling-spanish-town-hopes-of-reopening-mine-are-delaye.html?_r=0

Production didn't come ahead of schedule and under budget for shareholders in Emed Mining. For most it came too late for any hope of breaking even on their original investment.

That's not at all to say the same is going to happen in this case. Almost certainly it won't. But it's not a good comparison to draw into the discussion.

Thanks Bookvan. I just checked the Atalaya website and they commenced commercial operations in February 2016 with "First copper production ahead of schedule and under budget."Hope we can do the same!

"A much better comparison is the mine developments of Atalaya in Andalucia and Hemerdon in the UK."

Nor should he have brought up a comparison with Atalaya without knowing something of its difficult history. Maybe langostino will tell him if he asks nicely and he will understand better the reason some posters are less gung-ho than others.

Good to hear that Podemos want to preserve existing mine jobs presumably they will do the same at Salamanca and also allow others and their families the dignity of training and full time employment.Salamanca is not a Nuclear project. There is no nuclear reaction of any description on a uranium mine!It is a uranium mine in an existing uranium mining district.I have no idea about other mine you refer to.

Yes, Podemos want to preserve existing mining jobs. Good. That's true.

Two questions however for you.

1. What do they mine please at Aguablanca?

2. What is the policy of Podemos on nuclear energy please?

Langostino/QPThis is the reality of Podemos and the socialists when in power. They are working hand in hand with the PP to keep this mine OPEN to protect jobs..(no doubt some of these people were there at the outset protesting against its development in the first place..)Congress calls for the environmental impact statement Aguablanca before April 30 Extremadura socialist deputy Maria Soledad Perez explained that the objective is that in the two months before it becomes final the ERE extinction of the mine, "can work for a new company to take over the operation of the mine" By the PP, the extremeña Teresa Angulo also said that the socialist initiative is directed only to blame the central government and the direct involvement of the Board of Extremadura and all administrations and municipal corporations is also required We can defend it, and she argued that "the first thing is that the families of miners, while Cuidadanos warned that the closure cause a major social impact The Industry Committee of Congress has unanimously asked the government to submit before April 30 resolution of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) so that the Aguablanca mine in Monesterio remains open and profitable. The parliamentary groups of the PSOE, Podemos-En Comú, Podem-En Marea, Ciudadanos, el Grupo Mixto y Democracia i Libertad (DiL) have agreed an amendment, which was supported by all parliamentary groups, to prevent the closure of this site , which affects 400 direct and indirect jobs, and in order that the new government urgently use all the instruments of the law. The socialist deputy Maria Soledad Perez explained that the environmental impact report should be ready before April 30 in order that in the two months before it becomes final the ERE extinction of the mine, "can work for a new company in charge of the exploitation of the mine be done. " She recalled that it is a company that has benefits and has lamented the labor reform approved by the PP which could mean it has to close and would leave almost 400 workers wages without a job, missing a collective salary of about 17 million euros. Podemos deputy Alberto Rodriguez argued that "the most important thing for these families is that they can bring bread home" and he has criticized foreign multinationals who decide to relocate their plants leaving hundreds unemployed families. From Cuidadanos, Irene Rivero has said the closure would be a major social impact because no other industry to replace jobs Aguablanca mine. However, the deputy of the PP Maria Teresa Angulo said that the socialist initiative is directed only to blame the central government and the direct involvement of the Board of Extremadura and all administrations and municipal corporations is also required. The company Rio Narcea, a subsidiary of Canadian multinational Lundin Mining, which operates the field, had decided to leave and close the mine even though in September had announced that they would continue the extraction of ore in the underground galleries, once exhausted resources surface. To carry out this project in a production of almost 3.2 million tons of nickel and a lifespan of about three years is estimated, the company presented the corresponding application for EIA to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, which is pending approval. Mining affects the southern region of Extremadura north of Huelva, Seville and especially the municipalities of Monesterio, Real de la Jara and Santa Olalla de Cala. CCOO is evaluating the initiative Extremadura CCOO union stressed that the claim of Congress can help you have a new company to continue its activity. Its evaluating the parliamentary decision which, in its view, would move to prevent the closure of the mine and an alternative company could be found to continue the mining acitivities. Remember the union that the works council of "Aguablanca" met on March 16 in Madrid with the parliamentary groups to pass on their requests directly and request that they develop a proposal in this regard. "The text adopted specifically implicated the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and also appeals to the performance of the Board of Extremadura, the Andalusian Regional and local authorities in the area

"suspiciously pushing hard on the leftwing green buttons in my view"

Spot on ... In fact, pushing hard on anything that can be presented/portrayed as negative

I suspect miffed about missing an opportunity to buy at lower levels.

Clearly very interested in BKY otherwise they wouldn't bother.

Problem for them is there are too many buyers looking to build at the moment so selling pressure is soon bought up.

Massive news due in April so time is running out For them (mainly QP, but at least he gives a wealth warning at the foot of his posts. Haha)

QP you are confusing one of the development world's largest and most expensive Nuclear Power Stations with a relatively small mining operating in an existing uranium mining area. No comparison at all.A much better comparison is the mine developments of Atalaya in Andalucia and Hemerdon in the UK.Both creating exactly what the politicians want most.. jobs in depressed areas. You and Langostino are suspiciously pushing hard on the leftwing green buttons in my view.

Sorry, that's nonsense.

Nationalising public transport is very different to nuclear energy policy. You just cannot compare the two.

If it's all so easy and straightforward on nuclear, just look at the mess with EDF and the much reported likely delays of 2 years on Hinckley.

And that's between the two major governments of UK and France. - If they have issues/problems/delays/ questions in sorting out contracts for a new nuclear plant, please don't believe that things related to nuclear are plain sailing in Spain, especially at a time when politics are in a state of great flux with more extremist groups/ideas/policies gaining in influence.

Langostino why are you posting this? Its like saying if Jeremy Corbyn gets into power the trains will be nationalized. The top priority for all of Spain's political parties is jobs. As Syriza found in Greece student politics dont last long in the real world.

As an illustration of how existing permits/contracts could be rescinded by a new left government, Congress yesterday voted against allowing fracking and that existing permits/contracts be overturned. PP, in minority, voted against and as there is no government in power legislation can not be passed. PSOE and Podemos meet today in an attempt to thrash out an agreement. There is no possible conservative majority. If no government is formed by May 2 new elections will take place on June 26. Polls point to a similar outcome as Dec.20. 2016 could be the year in which Spain has no government.
