08/7/2015 11:24 | Just looked, and we've crossed all the dma up to 200 now,the same as last June but we've got wind in our sails, and I/we can expect far more this time around imho..... and into 3,rd place on the leaders boards...gla | abergele
08/7/2015 11:21 | Cheers Abergele. Mine too, managed to get my average into the single figures now from double figures. If we can get back to double figures over the next 12-24 months I will be very happy. Pleased with the new BOD aswell, things seem to be moving in the right direction now.. | m_don
08/7/2015 11:17 | Aye M_Don, there's a lot of us trapped in here,it's been my highest % loser in my lot, an a bad lot it's been too. We can only hope we've turned that corner, and as you say,"a gradual move "upward gla lth's,and the newest holders. | abergele
08/7/2015 11:00 | Not for the past 4-5 years it's not been! lol | m_don
08/7/2015 10:50 | Better than cash in the bank is this little gem! | danielmiller1
08/7/2015 10:37 | abergele, yes let's hope so. A nice gradual move upwards towards the concession decision. | m_don
08/7/2015 10:30 | Lets hope the buying pushes us through the dma's again, and a move to a higher level of say 2.4p topping out. and then, well who knows..gl | abergele
08/7/2015 10:01 | another tick up..had to take a few today anley, far too cheap a company, even though the dilution...trades coming through now.. | abergele
08/7/2015 09:33 | Helpful news this morning puts the price up.......... | anley
07/7/2015 10:26 | Afraid not.........but from another source it seems that all is OK with grades. Kurt Budge seems very open to questions so why not put them to him direct and see what comes out. What they seem able to do is hide behind the rules that say everyone must get the information at the same time.......a pity as the City always gets it first even in my days on the LSE and in investment banking....50 years ago!! | anley
06/7/2015 11:34 | Anley, thanks - did you manage to ask any of teh questions posted here? | 23blade
06/7/2015 09:17 | 23Blade..........the However, there was and is an air of confidence concerning the licenses but it is my opinion that with the Greek crisis the Swedish government and associated authorities will delay any grant until after the summer recess. So we are in to September and October 2015. The new brokers will do a funding once the news is out and in the meantime I do believe that there is enough cash in the bank to keep the company going for at least 4 months. The new board in the meantime are getting all the paperwork in order so that as and when the licenses come forward they are in a position to show all sorts of prospective buyers - JV to IO buyers just what they have to sell. That is how I see it so I have topped up again......... | anley
04/7/2015 12:35 | Anley, were any interesting questions raised at the AGM and what was the level of confidence re the gov decision? | 23blade
30/6/2015 17:57 | Place your bets on which will come first :- 1.We get approval by Swedish govt.. 2.Julian Assange gets interviewed by Swedish police. 3.Swedes produce evidence of that Russian submarine supposedly in their waters. 4.Hell freezes over. Anyone notice the common theme (he says rhetorically) | superslob
30/6/2015 15:35 | Dont hold your breath on swedish officials Anley... Mind you the UK Government isn't much better over the extra runway for London. | loadsamonay
30/6/2015 11:55 | Thanks Anley - I do so hope you are right. With everything else tanking at the minute as a consequence of our Greek friends then some optimistic news is most welcome ! | leadingladies
30/6/2015 11:11 | The new team are more than capable of knowing how to put together a JV or any other suitable mining arrangements which will be to the benefit of all shareholders........ Its just that we have to wait and risk ones capital and the risk/reward in BEM is such that we will double our money over the next 6 months (sticking my neck out) on the basis that the Swedish officials just can't be seen to be holding back when all the boxes have been ticked. That is how I see it........... | anley
30/6/2015 10:02 | Echo comments by "superslob". Feel more optimistic over granting of permit. Thing that still worries me is ability to get it out the ground for rates that can compete in the global market. Particularly in competition with areas where wages and other considerations e.g. health & safety are lower down the list !! | leadingladies
29/6/2015 17:36 | Anley, thanks for putting us in the picture! | superslob
29/6/2015 17:04 | An interesting day - on one hand big problems for Greece and the EU and the BEM AGM............. I have read very carefully the BEM Annual Report and Accounts as well as speaking to the two board members about the future and the coming months. The conclusions I have come to are optimistic: 1 Sweden has its own government problems and the BEM application has gone from pillar to post and thanks to Kurt it is now on track to be granted after summer and my guess is October 2015. 2 From a successful grant then comes the environmental permit, which here is the UK comes as part of the whole process. If 1 and 2 are done then BEM can open its books....so to speak........to potential buyers of the IO and JV partners and miners who would want to participate in this acceptable IO and its grades. The market is both EU and Far East so everything comes back to timing. The joint broker is a firm used to retail investors rather than Cantor who like to deal with institutions so that should answer any shareholder who was wondering why BEM now had two brokers. It may not be to the liking of some but it will serve its purpose for the time being. So I say well done Kurt and Bevan for all their hard work - chasing the Swedish government officials and running round to explain what they want to do with and how they will deal with those issues left over from the past. But I do urge shareholders to read the Annual Report (not the financials) as they have gone to great lengths to explain just what this company has..... I still say that the shares are worth 4p but the upside could be way above this so with patience and luck anyone buying under 2p has a potential for doubling your money but I cant tell you when!!! I hope this helps as I am still a buyer. | anley
18/6/2015 14:55 | many thanks anley, I suspect a placing is the reason, hopefully after we get the nod and announce a JV at the same time? | 23blade
18/6/2015 12:17 | Thank you for your questions which I will raise. All good and relevant ones. Add another - why indeed do we need another broker? I will report back after the AGM but in the meantime Lanstead may well control Canter who may want to go after their stake has been sold as and when a licenses has been granted. There seems to me to be a number of permutations with the 25% holding which can be used to block resolutions so nothing is quite as clean as I would like it but the fact remains that the iron ore is in the ground and it can stay there for the time being. | anley
