Morning all. Another day, another chance of an RNS.How exciting.
Not so exciting is the start of the recession fuelled drop in Met B prices. Down 5% overnight. AW was confident that prices would rise strongly. I expect a rapid fall as steel demand drops off. Seagreen made the point about government spending in recession supporting steel, but here I think he is wrong. Government spending is already allocated to high tech alternatives like the $500b digital transformation and roll out program.

Global Recession on it's way! Definitely NOT a surprise!
Could be very good news for precious metal prices, seagreen.

You should try it Seagreen. Try being self deprecating and be able to laugh at yourself instead of being a pompous, puffed up, moralistic moron. But you can’t can you. Shame.

So there we have it in black and white from the Guardian of truth, contrarian view and free speech .............

I did not get where I am by believing people who have to take logic jumps due to lack of facts and claim it is detailed research.........

I remember seagreen, back in early 2008, the oil "expert" at Goldman Sachs, along with other experts, was predicting the crude oil price would hit US$200 per bbl by the end of 2008. How wrong can you be! 😁
The share price/commodity price is the only fact; everything else is an opinion. It's a mugs game trying to predict the future; even so called experts are often only guessing.
The BEN sp, like the MILA share price (which I hold), have both been in a steep downtrend for the best part of 6 months. It's going to take some very good news to reverse those downtrends.

Some experts believe that in times of recession the governments invest in infrastructure increasing or maintaining the demand for steel and increasing or maintaining demand for the relatively rare meturlurgical coal. Some people believe there is a slightly ignored requirement for steel in renewables (refer to the Alcor-Mital web site) which as the promised for build out of global renewables could put further pressure on demand for steel and the rare meturlurgical coal that is currently required in the oroduction of steel.

This is merely an argument put forward by commodity experts not myself.

It appears to me that this thesis has some substance.

But the best advice as always is to take independent advice from a qualified expert in this field and do not believe everything you read on social media. Above all dyor, imho, nag etc.

The best advice, seagreen, is to take notice of the chart. The BEN sp, like many other shares, has been in a steep downtrend since mid April.
Beware the adverse effects of the recession (which has already started, but is likely to get much worse) on equities and commodity prices (with the possible exception of oil where the OPEC cartel, if it sticks together, can control the price by cutting output).

I have no specific time agenda but the best advice is to take independent advice from a qualified ACA or a qualified Certified Management Accountant and do not believe everything you read on social media. Above all dyor, imho, nag etc.

Sella the top. Very good list of data that I have been posting for since the beginning of time. Sadly with no disclosure. They must be getting desperate now as even Blue Star are underwater now with their 30p subscription shares. Not happy bunnies just like the USAIIs at 28p and 40p.

Having burned $38m of cash now when the admission placing of $9m was supposed to provide all the capital needed to reopen the underground mine producing 35k tons clean coal a month, and having paid themselves 20% of that first $9m in salaries in the first five months, the least the BoD could do is give proper data to PIs. Wonder why they won’t?

Only trouble is that an RNS must go through the Nomad and must have a vague form of truth!

News possibly within 10 days could prove which one of you is correct. Possible news about:
renewal of 1st HWMer lease agreement;
lease of a 2nd HWMer;
repairs to purchased HWMer;
amount of trains;
offtake deals;
purchase of new equipment;
recruitment of staff to operate it;
amount of coal stockpiled;
change from hard to soft lockins;
re-appointment of PR guys;
TR1 buys/sells;
nomination for surface coal mining reclamation award and/or junior mining award;
% recovery efficiency of washplant;
output from the current HWMer;
output from the continuous miners;
progress with the DM45 drilling;
who ate the most birthday cake with 1 candle on top :)
See you in 10 days or when the RNS lands, whichever comes first. Who will win? Purchaseatthetop or Seagreen? The sellers or the holders? 27.5p does seem cheap, so what went wrong?
