It's a breather and in a week or two's time, it will look like a pennant half way up a flagpole :)

Could this be a shake or is that not possible through an auction?

Whilst I'm more of a fundamental/momentum investor the chart is showing signs of a classic inverted head and shoulders which bodes real well for the future. Nothing goes up in a straight line and we are up 40+% in only a few trading days.
I welcome this breather and see it as a good sign :-)
Hornblower..any rumours on the rumour mill?? :-) Cheers

Same here Orient, I am tempted to sell half of my 15p blocks when they double but I also have in my head the reasoning behind why I was very happy to pay 65p for some of my holding too.

That Seymour P review has reminded me of the ultimate value here and its in pounds not pence I think in the not too distant future.

I dont think I could do a better job with my share cash over the next 2-3 years by trading the money so I am leaning toward just leaving it here and see how it does, Burren type ending would be V nice. Ah, decisions, decisions..........GLA

A little profit taking by those in under 20p is only natural and i would expect the odd sticking point.

Cisk mentioned it yesterday: forsaking short term profit for what we hope will be a game changer.

A lot to be said for letting your winners run :-) I've been guilty of selling to early on a number of stocks in the past..something about Bayfield which is telling me to keep holding and watch this unfold into a sterling recovery play :)

Someone is doing his best to keep this under 28p this morning. I've seen the same thing on the way up over the last few days. They're trying to steer short-termers into selling up imo. Always a good sign. If I had the cash I would take out the 150k LSE offer in one go and see how they liked that! I don't, so the're safe from me.

Company's discretion as we are already in a 'Takeover Period'.

Should BEH RNS if they know of no reason for the share price increase?

Or is it at a Company's discretion?

Orient, I think SP's target share price should be higher than 108p!! Why? Well I think because of those production problems share price had very low estimated revenue figures for 2012 and 2013.

Bearing in mind BEH had average net production of 778bopd and had revenues of US$22m the revenue estimates of 2012 and 2013 by share price are unbelievably low!! Already production in June was up to 1500bopd net, with the prospect of that being doubled by the year end.

Whilst the recent rises are indeed gratifying - we've got to remember that we've come down from 70p plus. My original rationale for buying in here was the hope that the BOD would emulate their work with Burren. To me that's a target of £billion plus market cap. That's a price in excess of £5.

Fanciful now - yes. But given 2-3 years of decent production behind them, plus successful exploration (now that's a big if of course) that could be achievable.

Just don't sell out too early for a quick gain, forsaking short term profit for what we hope will be a game changer.

Although the 108p price target was set back in February most of the production problems were already known and in the open back then so i imagine any new price target will not be to far away from that target :)

One thing worth mentioning and it is possibly being over-looked is that most of the BOD are extremely wealthy with two of them possibly being billionaires..if they feel that the markets are under pricing the company i could see them taking us private in a blink of an eye ;-)

That was way back in February Orient!! Tipping BEH as their top pick for 2012 when the share price was 49p doesn't look so hot now, though it looked even worse back in the summer when the share price dropped to just 13p!!!! At the moment their 108p target price seems miles away, but you never know.

Their 2nd top pick fared even worse than BEH. BOR!!!! I don't think the SP's oil analyst is in line for the award of top oil analyst for 2012!!!! lol. He excelled himself with BOR!! lol

PS. Where share price get their estimated revenue figures for 2012 and 2013 from is a complete mystery to me. They have US£20.9m for 2011 which is close to the actual figure of US$22m, but their 2012 and 2013 revenue figures are unbelievably low, IMO.

Seymour Pierce have Bayfield as their Top Pick for 2012 with a production target of 4,000 bopd in 2H2012 and a target price of 108p!!

Mojo...I'm pretty sure it happens because there were no actual trades made during the UT period 1630-1635hrs hence it just goes back to the 1630hrs mid price.

Great to see the Market waking up to these..it's as if the buyer behind the scenes has been waiting for Mr.Hatcher to sell his holding before commencing his own buying!! I'm sure something is going on behind the scenes and we will find out shortly! :-)

Orient, what are the rules re closing prices?

I noticed that today there was no UT to finish so the closing share price seems to be the Mid Price ie 26.625 despite the last AT being 27p just before the close at 4:30

I have noticed this happening not just on these in the past but others I follow too, any ideas why this happens?

Hi Cube boss. So you bought BEH? Did you get in under 17p? I'll post some more calculations on here tonight. Many thanks for the SRES tip, by the way. It broke out above my 1.50p chart resistance today.

I'll try and post some BEH and SRES charts tonight.
