https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israel-palestine-war-hackers-claim-have-targeted-government-websitesWhilst I'm pretty sure the claims are exaggerated the hackers are upping their game..which must require increased security.https://celarenet.com/Best look at how BATM cyber division protects networks.

On cyber I'm surprised there has not been a large increased take up by the Israeli state to protect wider range of state and key assets..may well be in the pipeline though. It is difficult to tell what it is being specifically used for due to necessary confidentiality ..but one must presume in the current situation and level of cyber attacks a wider range of assets would need increased security.

Their skill is spotting opportunities and new markets and developing relevant high tech solutions ..always has been and they always seem ahead of the curve. The shortfall has always been sales and the necessary mass adoption for the company to make the returns on investment needed to build shareholder value. Can only hope that lessons from the past ...including Covid are learnt! They need to be able to sell the products or sell the IP when the market in ripe and not see the market taken around them.

True. When thinking of Celare I was perhaps too focussed on the business with the single Government client namely the defence dept. Short term new business scope will surely be further defence dept contracts and perhaps contracts with other govt departments or contracts to protect key national infrastructure from attacks. I know someone said BATM are authorised to sell their existing encryption solution to a number of certified 'friendly foreign states.' The final Celare prize is the commercial version stated to be ready around June next year. Selling to other governments and selling a commercial version will require a sales & marketing skill set they simply dont currently have. They definitely should JV these facets of business to fast track opportunities. Speed is everything.

Whilst Telco/Egility and Adaltis/Ador might offer very meaningful long term revenue growth in established and growing markets should the latest products that took years and $10ms of r&d start getting traction , I think Celare with I understand state of the art cyber security solutions that are tried and tested in perhaps the most scrutinised market in the world is a very important growth driver itself. The beauty in theory is that we have a three pronged approach to fast growing markets with our disruptive technology...the issue is how we engage and secure market share in those markets.Whilst our technology is undoubtedly cutting edge we are not the only players in these three markets and there is growing competition. How the company best monetises on the investment made in all these areas for shareholders is the task for the current board. So far there is not enough evidence that genuine progress in creating value is being made but as always many hopeful noises. We could have three great businesses emerging from the group over the next few years but nothing it appears is being taken on trust with the current valuation.

There are a few very low level PI shorters that hover around this share. Attracted by the turbulence of the last couple of years. With volumes generally low, their impact is sometimes greater than it should be. A sustained positive news flow will quickly jettison them. Edgility & Adaltis contracts are the key to attracting heavy weight investors. Celare business just a bonus.

actually, that's often a part of the conspiracy theory. 'market makers', 'spreadex', 'trading patterns', etc. It all ends up morphing into one indistinguishable blob

Makes a change from blaming market makers every time a share moves against someone's positions i suppose!

I think what gb is trying to say is that punters are using spread betting firms like 'spreadex' to short BATM over time in just enough size to keep a lid on the price and/or consistently drive it lower. That (very unlikely) scenario then gets even more discombobulated in the mind of people like gb and it becomes Spreadex itself which is shorting BATM in sufficient size that they then SOMEHOW set about to corruptly manipulate the share price lower. 'spreadex' then almost becomes synonymous with 'evil manipulator' generally for the conspiracy theorists like gb, similar to the way right wing nutjobs use George Soros as a provocative shorthand for all things lefty-communist conspiracy to undermine capitalism.

no kooba, there's no new chair and no evidence of any relevant short selling either

honestly gb, I really don't want to do this. You didn't even bother reading my response thoroughly. As for your 'daily trading patterns' question, I'll answer this way: yes, I have and I can tell you in simple terms that you had at least part of the correct answer earlier. BATM is down over the past x months partly because of disappointed small shareholders selling out but mainly for reasons that have to do with other factors that I and others have listed many, many times which you seem to be resistant to understanding. I can't say 'spreadex', or short-selling generally, are NEVER a factor in the daily share price movements, but it is not a relevant factor overall, no.

Not sure if anyone can access details of shares on loan across the two markets they are traded on to confirm the position. I don't see much evidence of shorting currently.

My last word on the subject, the executives "alinement" to increasing the share price hasn't worked particularly well has it! I'm a very long term shareholder, I like Zvis entropanarial style. I'm not convinced in the new chair because of his lack of drive and business acumen, however the share price decline is because of short selling, if you can be bothered for one moment just look at the daily trading patterns?

First off, watch the language, you ignorant b1tch. Second, the greater the % that shares and options represent of an executive's compensation, the more aligned they're going to be with shareholders in focusing on improving the share price. That's just a simple, objective reality, which makes your ignorant, over-the-top response that much more ludicrous. I concede entirely that this has not yet worked but that does not change the internal logic of my comment. Finally, the reasoning behind your spreadex conspiracy theory is so dopey, it's not worth fully engaging with. BATM's daily volume is simply too low at this point to avoid the small cap malaise in these markets. However, given all the news that's already come and the odds of major items highlighted by FSE and Resistance that are likely to come soon as well, as well as a solid volume pickup lately in Israel, I am hopeful for the months to come. We shall see....

You never cease to amaze me with your bullish bulls#it! How on earth can issuing incentive shares to staff be positive for normal shareholders. Sorry about the Spreadex spelling mistake however who do you think has been continually/daily selling down the shares for the last 2 years? It's certainly not disillusioned shareholders?

Seems ironic that they're setting aside shares for an incentive scheme when the share price is near an all time low. I know it's not the normal staffs fault the share price has been decimated. The short seller Speadex here is pulling all the strings. The board need to take a leaf out of Novacyts book and start shouting from the roof tops about the applications they have available..

Still kooba, nothing unusual here. These shares are not for sale, just normal incentive plan awards vesting.

More info from Telco systems a new version of Edgility. I believe it was introduced a few days ago Nov 10th. In any event here is the information.

In the medical diagnostics division recent pathogen detection is indicative of a bacterial nature something that BATM have been warning about for some time. The company have invested significantly in anticipation of this outcome. They should be up to speed with this.
This also entirely relevant to what ADOR panels are working on to match the appropriate drug treatment to the specific bacterial

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, "Mycoplasma pneumoniae bacteria commonly cause mild infections of the respiratory system (the parts of the body involved in breathing). Sometimes these bacteria can cause more serious lung infections that require care in a hospital."

Major Edgility upgrade just released with enhanced AI integration: We are excited to launch the new #Edgility release 6 with powerful new features, including #Kubernetes and containers, #AI optimization, integrated network functions, and more. This latest release helps global organizations to work at scale, bringing the cloud experience to the #Edge.
Edgility supports Kubernetes at the edge, enabling the deployment and execution of workloads containing both containers and virtual machines. This helps mitigate the challenges of managing and scaling edge applications and standardizes application delivery. With AI accelerator support, Edgility enables running AI-based business applications and network functions within the same workload, effectively connecting the edge to a cloud or data center.
