15/3/2023 19:29 | Reason for the recent dip in share price is definitely SVB related. They were the main bank for tech start ups and it has affected the tech sector massively. Thankfully HSBC has bought the london arm. Credit Suisse also seems to be in trouble as they were asking the Swiss National Bank for some support. It is times like these I am glad BATM has a strong balance sheet - those that don't often struggle during these recessions | ![]() bigjon1
13/3/2023 10:29 | I think thats a general thing in technology and the markets just now..nothing that BATM specific..the fact they are not active in a normal share buyback programme like other companies might adopt having sought shareholder approval is not a stabilising factor. Tough times out there and at least BATM are well funded..be nice if they got back to cashflow positive trading after last years big negative ( for various reasons) it was always the compelling argument ..here we have a highly profitable cash flow positive business bringing new transformational technology to the market ..that are now at an inflection point.Lets forget 2022 on that basis!Haven't seen any current year guidance on cashflow but with adjusted PTP estimate of $5.3m not going to replenish the coffers much...just hope its not another down year. | ![]() kooba
13/3/2023 10:16 | Looking at the small individual trade volumes it looks like PIs have had enough and are selling. | ![]() car1pet
13/3/2023 09:58 | There is no keeping it quiet he is still a director would have to announce next day any sales...i very much doubt he is selling any..or intends to here. He has taken a fair whack of money out over the years , renumeration in last report and accounts including bonus was $1m. | ![]() kooba
13/3/2023 09:48 | It's beyond imagination on its face that Zvi is selling at these, or even materially higher levels | ![]() echoridge
13/3/2023 09:36 | Echo said last week it was Goldman Sachs was trading large numbers, I've always thought that Zvi would sell some of his holding eventually perhaps he's using America to try and keep it quiet for now, it might in part explain the weakness in the Sp, just a thought!! | ![]() gbenson1
13/3/2023 09:29 | Thoughts on someone building position? Clearly (initially) being done on the cheap, taking advantage of market conditions. It will be interesting to see if the buying continues beyond today, and how long before a threshold RNS if it does continue -- assuming it is a new holder of course. Sustained buying must eventually lift the share price I would hope. | ![]() resistance1
12/3/2023 08:57 | hi TradeTerminator, I definitely agree with your statement. BATM's earnings showed that they are definitely on the right track with a steady growth trend. With the share price at these low levels due to macro conditions it is very possible BATM will commence their buyback. A win-win for everyone - discounted prices for BATM and increased investor confidence. | ![]() bigjon1
10/3/2023 18:11 | Well i thought the company indicated they had authority to release a scaled down corporate suite of cyber products before the end 2022..never heard further on that...but good spot one can do exceptionally well with sovereign customers they can pay ..and pay well. | ![]() kooba
10/3/2023 17:55 | Meanwhile in Italy today ‘ In a brief statement following talks with Meloni, Netanyahu offered to forge deeper ties with Italy in an array of sectors, including water, cybersecurity and energy.’ Let’s hope then he allows BATM to supply the Cyber side. As approval to work with foreign governments is required. | ![]() resistance1
10/3/2023 17:54 | One should like volume on the way up..not so much on the way down. I doubt its a buy back day.The goings on at WANdisco and SVB and other tech facing financial institutions in the states where there could be further contagion..probably means hanging onto cash right now isn't the worse thing..the tech sector is facing a wall of worry right now...could throw up some real bargains for those with cash. However i would much prefer them to make the businesses they have work before buying anything new !! | ![]() kooba
10/3/2023 17:08 | I admit, in one way at least, it certainly looked like the Company may be buying as there was one ginormous bid at 23p all day long. However, unless someone's doing something cute executing the order, Shore Cap did not show up as a significant player today and they of course have the mandate for the buyback. In fact, the bulk of the volume today seems to have gone through 2 American giants that almost never show up as significantly active in this share, Goldman Sachs (over 2m) and Citigroup (around 500k). Something's a bit strange here | ![]() echoridge
10/3/2023 16:39 | benson, yes i think this is a good thing for us investors. A nice buy back should bounce us up to the high 20's due to only 33% of shares being held by the public. Hopefully this installs some confidence into the market. Would love to see this reach 40 by the end of June. | tradeterminator01
10/3/2023 16:13 | Nice large volume day, not sure if the Co buyback has restarted, said previously they were happy picking up distressed stock @ 20-23p, I guess we'll find out if RNS Mon? | ![]() gbenson1
10/3/2023 15:17 | Bit of selling about this afternoon. On another note Batm largest holder could be in for a nasty hit in the WANdisco fraud where they had an investment worth £70m a few days ago.Lombard Odier Asset Management (Europe) Ltd. 5,428,254 8.10%Not sure sure there is any value today. | ![]() kooba
10/3/2023 08:00 | That master investor puffy piece..mind your eye on the eps figure"The estimates from Shore are for the year to end December 2023 are for $132m revenues, $5.8m adjusted pre-tax profits and earnings of 2.4c per share."That implies a forward PER of 11.9X.There is not a straight shop eps forecast in their reduced estimate as yet but it is nowhere near that figure..seems made up.Shore "Based on our provisional forecast change, BATM trades on a FY23F PER of 47.5x "The Shore estimate is indicating earnings 0.6c giving that multiple.Only out by a factor of 4 times..quality. | ![]() kooba
10/3/2023 07:15 | Thanks FSE, according to that article only 33.14% of shares are in public hands. | ![]() wizzkid211
09/3/2023 16:39 | I can understand where Kooba is coming from. I got in at 25, could have sold at 33 but didn't as i thought it would take off from there. But as usual im still bullish about this particular stock due to its underlying growth factor. BATM has a great business model which, to the eye, seems investor friendly but evidently we are not reaping the rewards at the moment. I am hopeful that Moti can steer this company in the right direction as i think it has all the tools and resources to do so. | tradeterminator01
09/3/2023 15:01 | Barry. give it up lad. It's getting embarrassing. | ![]() kemche
09/3/2023 14:49 | Fair enough. Meantime, I'm wondering - if I'm right and this 'value focus' is for real under Moti - which business might be the next NGSoft.... | ![]() echoridge
09/3/2023 14:33 | Look I'm not selling but need some convincing anything much will change..the lack of contract news on bio is concerning as is the now many months since Telco confirmed Cityfibre EDGILITY interest and then gave a modest multi year contract. They may well have got expectation right down and kitchen sinked it as i said before so they can now post the beats on any additional contracts ..but either way they need some wins and we are looking at the end of the 1st QTR already. My fingers are crossed. | ![]() kooba
09/3/2023 14:16 | I wrote my last post obviously before reading yours, kooba. anyway, let's agree to keep the pressure on management to deliver real results | ![]() echoridge
09/3/2023 14:13 | No, what I'm trying to say is what I've been saying since late last year: that the Moti-for-Zvi change is a big deal for the direction of this Company and we are (hopefully) seeing the earliest signs of that. Otherwise, could we please keep the snark to a minimum? We've established, haven't we, that we want similar things here, no? You're cynical after years of over-promises and under-delivery; I get that. I say that's now more than in the share price however, while I also think that Moti can and will deliver value through targeted M&A and through several key business units which are really starting to deliver fundamentally. | ![]() echoridge |
