Yes will be updated tomorrow i believe as said..would expect much of the short to be closed when updated.As others have commented though this counter doesn't half stand out as i see some tremendous bounces across holdings..a number to new highs. As far as I can tell a large position has been unwound. These are delayed figures and I would have thought by now the situation in Israel will be resolved or balanced out by the end of today. It really is a sh*t show and its severely limiting investors from taking a position when they don't know WTF is going on, myself included !

Think there might be an update on short position tomorrow. I would expect the removal from TA-125 now completely factored.Rather thought there would be more interest post index exit but seems same old. Markets esp tech are rallying back strongly but no interest here..glad i have more Nanoco than BATM though did increase again small yesterday...one day it will be right!! I bloody hope!

Yeh car1pet, it's 12 inches, the results will be towards the end of the month, expecting confirmation of good positive results.. Not quite sure what's going on in Israel besides the index fiasco..

I followed up with a request for the date and was told

"The exact date is still to be determined"

How difficult is it to name a date for publishing results. Something is afoot

I contacted luther today by email asking for the date of the H1 results and received this reply just now

"BATM will be issuing their interim results by the end of the month."

Well we knew that. I wanted the date!!!

We will catch up after the interims + the CityFibre deal is converted to a formal, contracted piece of business + the buyback commences....I'd say the first week of September at the outside

Could be but the MM who sold the block would likely clear up the bits on the offer and likely go bid to replace the stock. The wonderful world of BATM !

With the number of tiny prints it looks like BOT trading. The offers are possibly in small amounts which hold the price lower allowing a buyer to take a chunk slightly higher

It wasn't valuation that saw BATM lose UK index position it was it's nationality as it was defined as Israeli. This was down to it's domesticity and dual listing, neither has changed. So even if the shares rallied hard on future events then they still wouldn't qualify for the FTSE UK Index Series.

One other thought occurs to me as we push our way (hopefully) through the final remnants of this latest index rebalance-related selling; basically, that the potential of the Edgility-CityFibre deal looks likely to make a mockery of the FTSE/Russell's decision to eject BVC from that index. With some hiccup-free interims, an advance on the substance of the CityFibre deal, some good news resulting from of any of the other major, relevant macro news that others have highlighted here in the past couple of months, and a bit of luck, and BVC could be in a position to re-enter both the FTSE/Russell and the TA-125 by Q1 of next year.....
